Huadu Square is located in Huadu New City, with Tianmei River in the east, Gongyi Avenue in the west, South Plaza South Road in the south, and Ziwei Road in the north. The square was invested and built by the government in 1999. It is the location of the Huadu District Government. It covers an area of about 290,000 square meters and has 70% of the green area. The square is based on a large area of green space and marble floor, planted with kapok trees, banyan trees, flowers and hedges. The venue is equipped with performance stages, Roman colonnades, dry land fountains, urban sculptures, dance floors and other supporting facilities.
