[2025 Yibin Stay] Travel Guide for Hualuxe Yibin, An IHG Hotel (Updated Apr)

A Complete Experience at the Hidden Gem - DoubleTree by Hilton Yibin Opened in 2022, the DoubleTree by Hilton Yibin is impressively new. Located at the Yibin International Convention Center, No. 1 Huangjueping Road, Cuiping District, it offers convenient transportation with easy taxi access to various attractions. This stay exceeded my expectations in every way. Executive Lounge: A Relaxing High-Rise Experience The Executive Lounge on the 31st floor offers unbeatable river views. The atmosphere is serene and quiet with few guests. Afternoon tea is served from 3:00 to 5:00, featuring cookies and nuts. Though the selection is modest, the service is exceptional. The staff specially brought us delicious cake and helped brew fragrant Pu'er tea. We were the only guests in the lounge that afternoon, enjoying what felt like a private experience. Happy hour runs from 6:00 to 8:00 in the evening with a diverse menu. Fresh seafood includes small abalones, mussels, and clams, along with spicy shrimp and boiled fish - the spicy shrimp being particularly praiseworthy. Fruits are elegantly plated in individual dessert bowls. A full range of beverages is available, including common alcoholic drinks, but my favorites were the adorable, delicate small cakes. Comfortable Rooms: High-Floor Views and Attentive Service I stayed in a high-floor city view room measuring 45 square meters with a separate dressing room. While primarily offering city views, you can also catch glimpses of the river, and I unexpectedly discovered an interesting panda wall art design to the front left of the hotel, which was quite charming. The turndown service is thoroughly attentive. The housekeeping staff is conscientious, not only emptying trash and replenishing supplies but also carefully tucking in bed corners, placing drinking water on the nightstand, and laying bath mats in the bathroom, making guests feel truly cared for. Butler Service: Thoughtful Care Throughout The hotel contacted me before check-in and added me on WeChat. Butler Siri was particularly attentive, sending the hotel's self-made "Yibin City Walk Guide," which was detailed and warmly written. Throughout my stay, the butler provided constant care, answering my questions and meeting my needs promptly. Abundant Breakfast: Tempting Local Noodle Specialties Weekend breakfast is served from 6:30 to 10:30, offering a wide variety of options. The noodle station specializes in Ran Mian, mushroom noodles, and Junlian rice noodles. I had Ran Mian two days in a row and still found it delicious. With plenty of minced meat and bamboo shoot braised beef, the mixed noodles offer rich layers of flavor that leave a lasting impression. 🧹Soundproofing/Cleanliness: The hotel's soundproofing is excellent, effectively blocking outside noise for a quiet rest environment. The cleanliness is impeccable, with spotless rooms and consistently clean public areas. 🏘️Room Type/Layout: The high-floor city view room is spacious, with well-planned 45-square-meter space and a convenient separate dressing room. The room layout is practical with excellent viewing angles for both city and river views. 🛌Amenities/Facilities: The hotel uses high-quality supplies with soft, comfortable bedding for a good night's sleep. Premium brand bathroom amenities, new and well-maintained facilities, and user-friendly room electronics all add to the comfort of the stay. 💗Additional Tips: Contact the butler in advance to discuss your needs - you might get a surprise room upgrade; definitely try the hotel's signature dishes, especially the Ran Mian at breakfast; while the afternoon tea selection in the lounge is limited, the environment and service make it worth experiencing. Next time I visit Yibin, I'll definitely choose to stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Yibin again!

Yibin, Sichuan is a hotel desert. In a city where even the Marriott Group has no presence, the HUALUXE Hotel under IHG is a real gem! HUALUXE and Holiday Inn Express are both located in the same building, with HUALUXE on the upper floors and Holiday Inn Express on the lower floors. The hotel is located at the intersection of the Yangtze River and Min River, in a great location. The night before check-in, I informed the manager that I was bringing my mom for a staycation, and they upgraded both rooms to a Half Mountain River View Suite and a Full Yangtze River View Room. I really have to give HUALUXE a thumbs up for their service! Diamond members have a dedicated check-in area with seating, and the staff wear cheongsams, which is fitting for a brand that IHG has set up exclusively in Greater China. [🛏️Rooms] The suite is very spacious, and the 270-degree curved floor-to-ceiling windows in the bedroom are truly eye-catching, offering panoramic views of the Yangtze River and the Cuiping Mountain on the other side. The HUALUXE branded tea in the minibar is also better than most major hotels' SWT. The separate bathroom with a bathtub 🛁 faces the Min River, allowing you to enjoy a bath while taking in the stunning river view. [🍰Lounge] The IHG lounge is as quiet as ever, with only one or two guests in the large lounge, which is much better than the Marriott market. The lounge staff will proactively offer afternoon tea sets, and the quality of the desserts is very good. [🍳Breakfast] The breakfast at HUALUXE Yibin is the most impressive part of my stay, with a variety of baked goods and European breakfast options, Sichuan stir-fried dishes, special ice powder and cold shrimp, and the most signature Yibin burning noodles. Isn't it worth coming to Yibin just for these burning noodles? Highly recommend this HUALUXE for a trip to Yibin, and if you communicate with the front desk, they will usually upgrade the basic room to a river view room.

The Zhao Yiman Memorial Hall in the park is free to visit, but remember that slippers are not allowed inside. Guanying Ancient Street is next to Hejiangmen Square. You can take a cruise here and feed wild big fish. When the lights come on at night, you can take pictures of the internet-famous earth! ~

Yibin Hualuxe Hotel Location: 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Hualuxe Hotel and Holiday Inn Express are very close to each other. They are located in Sanjiang New District, separated from the old town by a bridge. The surroundings are very quiet. As the area is relatively new, there are many buildings under construction, so there is not much hustle and bustle. However, there are many delicious foods in the old town. Driving here is a good choice, as parking is very convenient. There are also charging piles next to the hotel. Cleanliness: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Very clean. I didn't find any obvious hygiene issues. The hotel called me a day in advance to ask about my room preferences, and I specifically asked for a clean and tidy room. View: 🌟🌟🌟🌟 The room has a view of the big globe, but unfortunately, it wasn't lit up during my stay. When the sunlight comes in during the day, the whole room is very bright and spacious. Yibin's night view is not as bright as Chongqing's. It's a quiet and livable city. Other small experiences (I didn't try the breakfast, so I won't comment on it for now) 1. The mini bar is empty, which is something I rarely encounter. In the hotels I've stayed at before, there are usually items in the mini fridge, whether they are free or not. This hotel has a separate minibar menu, which is also nice, as you can chill your own drinks.🥤 2. The toilet flush button, the tiles under the bathtub, and the bathroom door all have room for improvement and need further maintenance. The tiles under the bathtub will automatically open if there is no dirty clothes basket blocking them. The bathroom door cannot be closed, probably because the seal has worn out from frequent use. The glue on the toilet flush button needs to be strengthened. 3. The welcome fruits are quite special. The oranges feel like they were just picked from the tree, with a hint of greenness, which is very refreshing. The grapes are plain, without a sweet and sour taste, which is unique. There are also peaches and pears, which are very distinctive and offer a different experience. Although they are not the usual fruit flavors, they are a novel attempt. Overall, this hotel has outstanding advantages and is a cost-effective choice in Yibin. The hotel seems to be doing very well during the recent battery conference. The rooms are elegant, fresh, clean, and tidy. Highly recommended!!! Also, club members don't get drink vouchers at this hotel.
