#taipeitrip A beautiful park and it was a very well taken care of and the staff were so kind at the visitor center. It was a beautiful day when I went, but cloudy and that stunk, considering I wanted to do the Mt. Qixing peak. I still did the loop and the peak, because it was so beautiful on the way up and totally worth the workout! Bring your waters, electrolytes, and snacks! Bring a jacket too if you go in the winter! You might hit rain or a wind chill the higher you climb! Also, story time! The National Forest Guards are so helpful! I left my apple watch on a portable charger up on the mountain trail head and the park had just closed and the buses going up had stopped. I talked to some locals that drove me down the mountain to the ranger station and they drove me all the way back up to grab my watch, which was still there! They were so incredibly kind and funny about the whole situation! Another international park knocked off the list, and it was lovely! I hope to come back during the summer and enjoy the clear skies!

The road leading into the mountains was a little damp, and I could feel the remnants of the morning rain. But the moist air was pleasant. As I walked, I noticed the air getting clearer and clearer. There were few people passing by on the way, and I felt like I was really in nature. Then, I heard the sound of water coming from between the trees. At that moment, I felt like something was loosening up. Datun Waterfall was quieter than I had imagined, and not flashy, but it was gentle. The water gliding down the rocks, and the forest space that reverberated the sound. It was like a natural concert, and I stood there for a while without thinking about anything. In the absence of any artificial sounds, there was only the sound of the waterfall and my own breathing. A deep silence that you can't experience in a hectic daily life. I truly felt that this was also one of the charms of Yangmingshan.

Around May each year, the azaleas all over the mountains bloom in competition, forming a spectacular sea of flowers, known as 'the world's number one azalea red.'

Let's go! We are going to Yongzhou, exploring north of Guangdong, decided to take a look at the rime on Yangming Mountain.❄️🏞️ In Yangming Mountain in Yongzhou, I checked a lot of information, but found limited introductions, so I had to go on an adventure myself. It is recommended to choose a lower temperature, avoid snowfall, because snow may cause road closures. The day after I left, it snowed in Hunan, and various road closures were inevitable.☁️❄️ When going up the mountain, the navigation directly points to the east gate of Yangming Mountain. There was a section of road repair and pit filling along the way, and I waited for 20 minutes to pass, which should be faster under normal circumstances. The road surface is full of potholes and mud, and under non-snowy conditions, ordinary two-wheel drive cars are fine, just drive carefully. After arriving at the entrance of the scenic spot, the ticket is purchased on the spot for 50 yuan, and online purchase only costs 35 yuan, but it takes 2-4 hours, it is recommended to buy in advance.🚗🎫 Rime began to appear at the fork, the viewing platform was severely iced, it is recommended to wear hiking shoes, walk carefully. Walk towards Wanshou Temple all the way, passing by the Red Army Martyrs Monument on the way, it is recommended to stop and feel the majesty in the clouds.🏔️❤️ Continue along the mountain road, Wanshou Temple is simple and quiet, and the incense is not prosperous. After coming out of Wanshou Temple, you can't continue to go up, the road is blocked. Return to the fork and go to Wanhe Lake.☁️🚶 The biggest surprise of Yangming Mountain is Wanhe Lake. Looking at the mountains and rivers and the lake is like being frozen in the clouds and mist, and you can instantly feel the artistic conception of 'a thousand mountains bird fly absolutely, all paths human traces vanished' in 'River Snow'. There is also a charging pile here, with a power of 40kW, just in time to charge the car while eating. There were some problems when going down the mountain. At 3 pm, the fog was thick and the visibility was very poor. There were also vehicles going up the mountain, so be extra careful. In winter, there is no need to go to Lingling in Yongzhou, which is easier and the cost is relatively low. New energy vehicles need to pay attention to timely charging, and my energy consumption per hundred kilometers is 30 degrees when going up the mountain. Try to increase the tire pressure before going out, low temperature can easily cause low tire pressure alarm, and bring inflation equipment at the same time.
