Huanghe Ancient Ferry Original Ecotourism Scenic Area
The name of Huangsha Ancient Ferry originates from Huangshazui. During the Western Xia period, the Hengcheng ferry was an important transportation hub. There was a place called Huangshazui to the north of Hengcheng, hence the Hengcheng ferry was also known as "Huangsha Ancient Ferry"

In front of the ferry, there is a quaint wooden yuèmén built on the mudflat, with a pair of river-guarding beasts on the sides facing the Yellow River, and a pair of stone lions on the back facing the yellow sand, each with its own majesty. The Yellow River flows northeast at the ancient ferry site, turns eastward at Bayannur in Inner Mongolia, and then turns south at Togtoh, becoming the boundary river between Shaanxi and Shanxi provinces.
