#travelinginchina I highly recommend that if you still have time then try and visit Huanglongxi Ancient Town. It is located in the Southern part of Chengdu and it takes around 1 -2 hours depending on where you’re starting from the city center. This ancient town is free on entry but it is bustling of little shops and restaurants. It feels very authentic unlike the over crowded and highly commercialized ancient towns in some parts of the city. There is a river at the back side of the ancient town and you can ride the boats there for extra fees. Enjoy!
