Tips: We didn't visit the traditional scenic spots. Instead, we asked locals about the places with the most ice shoves during the Lunar New Year period. Because you have to cross pastures, herders may charge a small fee. The locations with the most ice shoves on Qinghai Lake vary from year to year and even by time of year, so it's essential to inquire beforehand. Most importantly, there are very few restaurants open during winter, so be sure to bring enough food!! Take proper precautions to stay warm!! Although the temperature drops to -10°C, it's bearable once the sun comes out. Compared to clothing, scarves, gloves, hats, and sunglasses are more important!
