Huis Ten Bosch in Nagasaki is famous for recreating the streets of the Netherlands. We entered around noon and saw the illuminations after dark! So, I’m not a big theme-park person, but decided to pay a visit to Huis Ten Bosch as I had an extra day in Nagasaki. On top of the rides (more for kids than adults), there are interesting museums and the grounds are well kept and nice. The day I visited, a Banksy exhibit was going on it was quite nice. If you have kids, that’s definitely a must-go place if you are in Nagasaki. It’s a good idea to rent a bicycle to move around as the place is huge.

I went to Huis Ten Bosch for the first time. There were a lot of school trip students on weekdays in December. I stayed at Hotel Amsterdam with the After 5 Passport, so I had 1.5 days to play.
