The Huizong Temple was built in the 30th year of Emperor Kangxi (1691 AD). Under the instigation of Tsarist Russia, Kaerdan, the leader of the Junggar Department of Moxierut, boldly attacked Monan. In 1690, Emperor Kangxi defeated Galdan. In the following year, Kangxi went to Duolunuoer to meet with the three tribes of Khalkha in Mobei and Taiji, the Mongolian prince of the 48th Banner in Monan, known as the "Duolunhui League" in history. Kangxi agreed to the request of "wish to build a temple to honor the grand ceremony" and began to build the "Huizong Temple".

Huizong Te
Huizong Temple has a dance hall, Dashanmen, Tianwang Hall, Bell and Drum Tower, Zhengda Hall (upper and lower floors), East and West Temple, Guancang, Jiacang, and the apse. At the time, Huizong Temple was the largest lama temple outside the mouth. It stood tall and magnificent. Huizong Temple is a wooden structure with a height of fifteen meters. It is located on a stone foundation. Huizong Temple, once approved by Kangxi personally, has undergone turmoil. Today, Huizong Temple has long since lived up. Today's Huizong Temple only retains the original mountain gate, and the rest are later built. Compared with other temples, it is less magnificent and more solemn and elegant.
