At 11:02 on August 9, 1945, the U.S. military used B-29 bombers to drop an atomic bomb over Nagasaki, Kyushu, Japan, named "Little Fatty". Once, the land and history of Nagasaki was smeared with an irreparable scar. In order to commemorate this sad past and those who died, people circled the center of the atomic bomb to commemorate the park, and a stone tablet was erected on the center of the ground to represent the disasters that happened here. A Peace Park was established not far from the Atomic Bomb site, and the Peace Girl Praying Sculpture presented by China is also located here, so you may wish to look for it.

Hypocenter Park Nagasaki
#newyearnewtrip
The Hypocenter park in nagasaki is the exact location where the atomic bomb was dropped on 9 August 1945, leading to many tragic events and awful effects after the bombing. This park was built in commemoration of the past happening and to remind us that war is never a good thing, with lives taken away and cities being destroyed.
It is great to see now how nagasaki came out of dark times and is booming now and how it is all developed. The park is serene and has lush greenery with a pretty canal and bridge right next to it. Take a walk here and appreciate all the good things in life. It is a meaningful time here as i visit the hypocenter park. The park has monuments and memorials scattered around the park. Take a look here and explore slowly.

Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Site: Scars of War and Prayers for Peace
The Nagasaki atomic bomb drop site (Nagasaki atomic bomb drop site) is located in Matsuyama-cho, Nagasaki City, Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan. It is the center point where the US Air Force dropped the atomic bomb on August 9, 1945. After the atomic bomb exploded, buildings around the center were razed to the ground and about 70,000 people were killed.
Today, the site of the atomic bomb drop is a memorial park that houses the Atomic Bomb Drop Site Monument, the Atomic Bomb Museum, and the remains of the Urakami Catholic Church.
The monument to the center of the atomic bomb drop now consists of a black granite pillar about 15 meters high with the words "center of the atomic bomb drop" engraved on it. There is a small stone tower in front of the monument, which houses the list of the atomic bomb victims.
You will also see the remains of Urakami Cathedral, which are the only parts of the walls of Urakami Cathedral that remain after the atomic bomb explosion. The cathedral was razed to the ground in the atomic bomb blast, but this wall miraculously survived.
Visiting the site where the atomic bomb fell can help us better understand the history of World War II, feel the cruelty of war, and reflect on the importance of peace.
The center of the atomic bomb drop is the memorial park, please keep quiet. The site where the atomic bomb fell in Nagasaki is an important historical site for Japan and the world, and an important place to reflect on war and cherish peace.

Nagasaki Hypocenter Park, where the atomic bomb was dropped
July 2018 #NagasakiTravel
#I first recognized the name Nagasaki when I heard that it was one of two cities that were hit by the atomic bomb. Naturally, I visited the #NagasakiPeacePark related to it and came down, but there was another spot related to the atomic bomb. It was right across the street, the #HypocenterPark (#爆心地公園).
A monument was erected on the exact spot where the atomic bomb fell, and there was also a statue commemorating the 50th anniversary. But the most amazing thing was that even though the atomic bomb had completely destroyed the surrounding area, one pillar was still standing upright.
If you move a little further, you can see the stratum that was there at the time of the atomic bomb, and you can imagine how powerful it was because everyday tools like rice bowls were mixed in the soil. Anyway, I hope that this kind of pain will never happen to us humans again.

"Atomic Bomb Hypocenter Monument" and "Ground Zero Park"
The "atomic bomb" brought tragedy to all the surrounding areas in an instant.
This is the "Atomic Bomb Hypocenter Monument" and "Ground Zero Park."
The precious layers of rock excavated at the time are preserved and on display, and can be seen.
When you stroll through the city of Nagasaki,
you can feel a lot of history and culture.
You can see information boards and materials related to the atomic bomb,
but how much damage was caused over a wide area from here?
You can often feel it even more deeply by strolling around.
There are many facilities related to the atomic bomb,
but this is the hypocenter.
