Shanghai Skyscraper Photo Zone, If you want to take a good picture between three buildings, this is the place🏙️
#ChinaTravelMoment #2024WishEvent
A set of Lujiazui skyscrapers that you must see when you come to Shanghai.
The scene where the Shanghai Tower, Jin Mao Tower, and SWFC (Bottle Opener Building) stand out against the sky is really impressive. But surprisingly, there aren't many photo zones where you can capture all three buildings well.
📍 The location is 'Shanghai Tower Hotel Front Pedestrian Street' next to SWFC
It's about a 10-minute walk from Lujiazui Station on Subway Line 2.
If you walk along the street, there is a section where the three buildings look almost symmetrical. The location is not an official photo spot, but it's not hard to find because local filming crews and wedding snapshots are often seen there.
🕓 The best time to take pictures is around 4-6 PM.
As the sun sets, the light gently spreads across the exterior walls of the buildings,
and if you take pictures at this time, the background comes alive and the people look pretty. If it's too late, the backlight will be strong and the face will be dark,
and if it's too early, the shadows will be awkward.
📸 Shooting tip: Wide-angle mode on your phone is a must!
The three buildings are so big that you can't capture them all with a normal camera.
If you slightly tilt it up from the bottom,
and capture the building curve slightly curved, it will create a much more atmospheric atmosphere.
The most stable composition is to place the person in the middle between the buildings.
Light colors definitely look better than dark colors.
If it's a simple style with a single color, such as a white shirt or a light beige one-piece dress,
the photo will be much clearer because it contrasts with the background.
😎 I recommend weekdays over weekends.
There are a lot of people trying to take pictures on the weekends,
and if there are too many people in the background, the mood is ruined.
And in the morning, it's ambiguous because it's the office workers' way to work,
so the afternoon was the most leisurely and pretty time.
✔️ One-line summary
It is a building that is commonly seen in Shanghai,
but the location and time of day are really important to take a picture with the right composition.
If you just meet these conditions, such as the afternoon when you can get nice natural light, and the composition that includes all three buildings, you can definitely take a great picture with just a smartphone.
