Indai Village is located on the southwest side of Inle Lake and is relatively remote, so there are fewer people here. Tourists arrive here by boat through the river, and you will be surprised to find that this is a paradise, with a feeling of isolation, but with a unique flavor. There are small waterfalls and bamboo forests in the village. There is a Tallinn on the mountain, and there is a Buddhist pagoda that has been abandoned. The whole village gives a sense of harmony and tranquility, very comfortable.

Amazing place
A one hour boat ride down a small canal take you to the Pa-Oh village of Indein, positioned on the western shores of Inle Lake. You will take a leisurely stroll around the village before ascending the staircase leading to the pagoda. Once you’ve arrived at the summit, you will be greeted by an iconic Buddha image which sits enshrined among hundreds of stupa ruins and overgrown shrubbery. The Indein Pagoda complex is undoubtedly one of the most amazing sites around the shore of the lake and it consists of hundreds of small stupas which are overrun by moss and greenery. On your boat ride back, you can stop at the Inthar Heritage House to learn more about the history and culture of the lake’s indigenous people.

Shwe Indein Pagoda is one of the most important religious and historical building in Indein village. It's worth a pricier boat ride to make it out there to enjoy the good views from the lake.
The place is really well preserved and is a pleasure to see. This place is in excellent condition, you don’t need to use your imagination as you can see all details well-preserved. You will find yourself having so much fun wandering around this place, taking photographs as you will feel there are many details to discover. It opens to the public everyday from 7 am to 6 pm.

Along the
Along the meandering canals, you arrive at this weir.
Lots of boats, lots of friendly stall owners and a magical long walk in a columned corridor leads you to an historical gathering of stuppas..
Late afternoon is best for light, and just wander freely amongst newly restored, and 12 th century stuppas, build in Bagan time.
Low key, atmospheric, and don't miss walking along the tree lined river with Bamboo groves along side.
Village life in the water is very apparent, nothing to do with tourists. #GiveThanks

The beauty
The beauty of Yindeng is that after climbing to the top of the mountain, he looks at the vast expanse of the vast plain; the beauty of Yinden lies in the ancient stupa that stands quietly. Walking into Indun is like entering a quiet world that is different.
The Indun pagoda group surrounded by mountains, the towers are scattered, and the densely packed space is located in this space. The children sat under the pagoda, bathed in the sun, and the warmth was great.
