[2025 Musashino Attraction] Travel Guide for Inokashira Park Zoo (Updated May)

We visited Inokashira Park, famous for the duck boats on Inokashira Pond. While enjoying the petting area for guinea pigs, we heard that there were squirrels there, so we went and discovered a corner where you can see squirrels running and eating food right in front of you. Inokashira Park Zoo is a small zoo, but the Squirrel Forest is a unique facility that is highly recommended! Surrounded by wire mesh, you can stroll around the same space as the squirrels. Squirrels are quick and it's hard to get them in photos, but if you're lucky, you might see them taking a nap on the trees. Inokashira Park is so beautiful in autumn. Convenient transportation and close to Shinjuku. In autumn, I really recommend taking a day to visit Kichijoji and Inokashira Park.

#thingstodo Really relaxing place that has a small town community park feel blended with a zoo. Due to this more open layout, you are free to explore the various exhibits how you like, which means you do need to keep track of where you went/what you saw if you want to see it all. Many other zoos have set walking paths that kind of guide you through much of those zoo exhibits to a certain degree. Plentiful large seating, shade, and play areas, even a mini amusement park. The tickets were very affordable and cover both the zoo and the aquatic life park

#2024wish We spend a delightful day at the Park and Zoo. The zoo is close to the train station. The weather was perfect, and the exhibits were great. There was no wait to get into the zoo. They have plenty of public bathrooms and vending machines. Highly recommend this if you're in the area. Very nice...... In 2024, I want to travel more with my friends and family.
