A must-stay in Cairo: InterContinental Cairo Citystars!
I just returned from the InterContinental Cairo Citystars, and it was truly a perfect stay. Located on Omar Ibn El Khattab Street in Heliopolis, the hotel boasts a prime location right next to Citystars Mall, Cairo's largest shopping center, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient.
The hotel's decor is very modern, with a luxurious Middle Eastern flair. Every evening, the lobby comes alive with live music, sometimes a piano and violin duet, other times a solo harpist, creating a special ambiance. The hotel's facilities are also top-notch, featuring a swimming pool, robust security measures, a gym, and a spa. The presence of armed security guards provided a strong sense of safety. Moreover, the service was impeccable, with professional and friendly reception staff ensuring a swift check-in process.
Our room was on a high floor and featured a spacious, bright bathroom with all the necessary amenities. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the entire room was spotlessly clean. The daily complimentary snacks and drinks were a delightful surprise, making it hard to leave the room. We tried the club room this time, which offers a dedicated check-in and check-out desk on the 15th floor for added convenience, along with all-day access to snacks.
There are many attractions worth visiting nearby, so don't miss out if you're in Cairo. Places like Twitter Egypt Travel, Terre d'Egypte, and Pretty Egypt Tours are all within easy reach of the hotel. There are also plenty of dining options nearby, such as Fayruz Lebanese Restaurant and Al Khal Egyptian Restaurant, perfect for food lovers.
Of course, every hotel has minor drawbacks. For example, the soundproofing in the rooms could be slightly improved, and the hotel is a bit pricey. However, overall, the InterContinental Cairo Citystars is definitely a top choice in Cairo, elevating the travel experience to a whole new level!
Looking forward to my next stay, and I highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Cairo. 🥳
