It's a little far from Osaka Umeda Station, about 15 minutes on foot. However, the service was excellent and it was very comfortable. Although it's far from the station, the location is good and it's directly connected to the Grand Front, so it's convenient for shopping. Spent 4 nights at Intercontinental Osaka at their premium king room with city view. Room is very spacious. Love every part of the room. Only issue we had was the pillows were way too soft. Though this was solved by memory foam pillows. Reception speaks good english so no issues with communication. This is within sheltered walking distance to Osaka station so very very convenient. InterContinental Hotel Osaka. The front desk is located inside Grand Front Osaka. As it's on a high floor, the view is outstanding! I was able to check in slowly in the spacious space. The hotel is located above the 20th floor of the building. I had booked a deluxe room, but upgraded to a corner room. This allowed me to admire the view on both sides. Sitting on the couch in the corner would make a nice pose for the camera. Or, you can take a bath at night and enjoy the skyline. I enjoyed a cake set at Patisserie STRESSED on the first floor of the InterContinental Hotel Osaka.  The showcase was filled with beautiful cakes made with seasonal fruits, all of which were eye-catching and gorgeous. I chose a melon tart, and the combination of fluffy sponge, moderately sweet cream, and juicy melon was exquisite, and it was truly a blissful moment.  For my drink, I chose black tea from Singapore's luxury tea brand TWG Tea. It was fragrant and went perfectly with the cake.  The interior of the store is bright and calm, and while it is more casual than the hotel lounge, it has an elegant space. The staff were polite and friendly, and I was able to spend a comfortable time.  The cake set was 1,650 yen including tax, which is reasonable considering the hotel quality. Since I arrived early at around 11 am, but the room would be ready at 3 pm according to the normal check-in time, the staff offered me to sit and relax in the lounge as I pleased. The room was spacious, with a work desk, walk-in closet, sofa. The bathroom was also spacious. Most importantly, the view from the large window Inside the room, the view was very good.
