Stay on the executive floor, so when you arrive, please ask the staff on the first floor to swipe the elevator card to go to the executive lounge on the 17th floor to check in. When you arrive, you can order a cup of tea, coffee or juice, and simple biscuits are also provided. There are three dining hours in the executive lounge: breakfast: 6:30 AM-10:30 AM (you can choose to use Buffect at the Mu Ning restaurant on the first floor or in the lounge), afternoon tea (providing some simple cakes and cookies): 2:30PM-5:00PM, cocktail hour (providing some simple light meals and cocktails): 5:30PM-7:30PM, dinner cocktail hour, although they are all light meals, but it is also quite filling. The hotel facilities include a swimming pool, oven and steam room, but the oven is in the boys' locker room and the steam room is in the girls' locker room, so it's a pity that both cannot be used. The swimming pool is outdoor and it was winter so we didn't go in the water. The swimming pool looks quite small. I'm hooked! 🏨 The hotel's location is fantastic. It's right near CMP Block Museum of Arts and Park Lane by CMP, surrounded by trendy shops and delicious food. You can easily stroll around and enjoy everything on foot. As soon as you step into the lobby, you're greeted by the high ceilings, gorgeous crystal chandeliers, and an overall sense of luxury. The check-in process was quick, and the staff were warm and attentive. 🛏 The rooms are thoughtfully decorated, with incredibly soft bedding and a thoughtful turndown service. The rooms are well-lit with expansive views of the city. The bathrooms have separate shower and toilet areas, and the toiletries are from high-end brands, making for a truly comfortable experience. 🍽 The dining options are a feast for the senses! The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of Chinese and Western dishes, including made-to-order omelets and traditional Taiwanese breakfast items. The Chinese restaurant serves authentic Taiwanese cuisine with signature dishes that will leave you wanting more. The Western restaurant offers tender and juicy steaks and exquisite desserts. 💪 The fitness center is equipped with new and comprehensive equipment, perfect for a refreshing workout. The heated pool is crystal clear and inviting for a leisurely swim. There's also a children's play area, so you don't have to worry about your kids getting bored if you're traveling with family. This hotel offers incredible value for money, whether you're on a family trip, a romantic getaway, or traveling solo. I highly recommend it. If you're coming to Taichung, you must stay here!

|✨Room✨ I stayed in a room on the 15th floor with a view of Calligraphy Greenway. The view from the window was amazing. You can enjoy the sunset at dusk and the city lights at night. The view of Taichung is breathtaking. The bathroom window has a city view. The toiletries are the same brand as the InterContinental Kaohsiung, Byredo. The bathtub has a shelf and headrest, which are very comfortable. As for the facilities, I'm not sure if there is a robot. I tried calling it, but there was no response. There is no speaker in the room, but you can connect your phone to the TV, which is very convenient. The mattress is a Serta mattress, which is very comfortable! ✨Afternoon tea and breakfast✨ The afternoon tea and breakfast in the executive lounge are delicious. I recommend the lobster porridge for breakfast in the executive lounge. There are many breakfast options on the first floor. I think the turnip cake, beef soup, and braised beef cheek are all delicious. The dining environment is spacious, and the layout and seating are comfortable. ✨Swimming pool✨ The pool is 1.2 meters deep. There is no children's pool or float. There are often mosquitoes by the pool, so if you want to relax by the pool, I suggest you take precautions against mosquitoes. ✨Dinner at Ming Chuan Building✨ The food at Ming Chuan Building is delicious. I recommend the crispy chicken. The crispy skin and tender meat with mustard pepper are unforgettable, but you may need to order this dish in advance. The only downside is that the food is served quickly, which makes the dining experience a bit rushed. ✨Tips✨ There are some events at Calligraphy Greenway on weekends. If the road in front of the hotel is closed, it will be inconvenient for taxis to enter. In addition, some events are loud, and you can hear them in the room. If you are sensitive to noise, you may want to pay attention to this. I am very happy to spend a relaxing weekend at the InterContinental Taichung.
