Inside Manila's Walled City
Also called as the Walled City, Intramuros is a Spanish colonial structure and government which was built around the 160-acre property in Manila for the purpose of protecting the same from the threats of invasion by foreigners.
Many locals and foreigners visit the place today as it was able to preserve some of the structures back then. Structures around the walled city are centuries old like banks and other known government agencies. In other words, this was the olden times' seat of religious as well as political power.
