The shrine's chozuya (purification fountain) is adorned with seasonal flowers, adding a ceremonial touch to the visit. However, the highlight for children is undoubtedly the shrine's mascot, 'Kima-chan.' Kima-chan is an adorable rabbit wearing a traditional hat, beloved by visitors. My child was so excited to meet Kima-chan that they even brought their stuffed rabbit from home to Japan! Additionally, the shrine offers colorful polka-dot omamori (amulets) in various colors and designs, some featuring Kima-chan charms. These omamori are not only visually appealing but also serve various purposes, such as praying for safety, love, and wisdom.
