The staff were professional and friendly, the food was delicious, and the ambiance was exquisite! Also, the water pressure in the shower was on point and their wine and whiskey lists were respectable. There is a spa, hikes, and several recreational activities on site. There is a gym, but it is not open early or late and has limited equipment (no free weights, limited cardio machines) A few minor areas of complaint. The bed was a European King, that is 2 double beds pushed together... Some of the information on that online was unclear (mostly from third party sites). Also the bed was not as comfortable as I'd expect for a luxury hotel. Additionally, be aware that the island is fairly isolated... There is taxi service to Oban, but it is best to reserve 24 hours in advance. We loved the intimacy of an isolated estate, but it does make a night on the town a bit more involved. Overall a great location for luxe accomodations!
