To be precise, it is a spring-fed pond located in the grounds of Isoyama Benzaiten in Isoyama Park. The water is so clear that the carp in the pond can be seen clearly. When you take a picture of it with a camera, it looks like they are floating in the air. Its beauty is comparable to that of Monet's Pond at Nemichi Shrine in Seki City, Gifu. The morning after it rained or was humid the day before, you can see the mysterious sight of steam rising from the surface of the pond, called a kerashi.
