Ziman Mural Village is located only about 500 meters away from the Hanok Village. This slum area is only a short distance away from the Hanok Village and has not received attention. However, because of the murals, crowds gradually gathered. The exterior walls of more than 400 residential buildings in the entire village are all painted with beautiful murals. The smart colors are integrated with the surrounding natural scenery and are full of vitality. It is precisely because of this that the nearby places that were originally private residences have also been turned into cafes, restaurants, homestays, etc., making the alley even more popular.

Rainy Day Charm: Exploring the Art and Nostalgia of Jaman Cultural Village
#koreatrip #Jeonju
Visiting Jaman Cultural Village on a rainy day offers a unique and cozy experience as the rain adds a serene charm to its vibrant streets. Nestled in Jeonju, the village is renowned for its colorful murals and eclectic mix of retro and artistic vibes. The soft patter of rain enhances the atmosphere, making the narrow alleyways glisten and the artwork pop even more vividly. Ducking into the quaint cafes and art studios scattered throughout the village provides a welcome respite from the drizzle, where you can enjoy a warm drink while admiring handcrafted items or retro decor. The rain brings a quieter, more intimate feel to the area, allowing visitors to explore at their own pace and soak in the creativity and nostalgia that Jaman Cultural Village exudes.

Jaman Mural Village 자만벽화마을
#koreatrip This is beautiful and the types of murals that are painted all over the walls and courtyards are a great depiction of Korean culture as I have seen it over the past couple of months: cute and creative. Tons of sweet little cafes and some little eateries are sprinkled around if you haven't already been satisfied by the goods you can find in the hanok village. Highly recommend!! Wanna go back again and again!
