The city wall is similar to the Great Wall, and the interior decoration is extremely luxurious🏫 and beautiful. Many people take wedding photos📸 here. In my opinion, it is the number one attraction along with the Taj Mahal. It's super photogenic😍. I recommend wearing a colorful skirt for photos📸. 2⃣Jal Mahal⭐️⭐️ A magical building with two floors above water and three floors underwater. The construction method is super wonderful, but you can only view it from a distance and cannot enter. The experience is average. 3⃣Jantar Mantar⭐️⭐️⭐️ I have to admire the wisdom of ancient Indians. Here you can see a timer that is accurate to the minute and second, and it can still accurately measure modern time⏱. 4⃣City Palace⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The palace is located in the Pink City of Jaipur. The museum inside displays the items used by the nobles of the Mughal dynasty. It's super photogenic. There is a plaque fixed on one of the structures in the Jantar Mantar observatory in New Delhi that was placed there in 1910 mistakenly dating the construction of the complex to the year 1710. Later research, though, suggests 1724 as the actual year of construction. Its height is 723 feet (220 m). Getting There - You can get there easily by metro. The nearest metro station is Rajiv Chowk. After out tour at Amer Fort, we made our way to the magnificent complex of Jantar Mahtar. If you wonder what it means, literally it refers to instruments for measuring the harmony of the heavens. Basically it serves as an observatory site to compile astronomical tables, and to predict the times and movements of the sun, moon and planets. It was built wayyy back in 1723 by Maharaja Jai Singh II of Jaipur. We were told he alao built another 4 sites for observation purpose. Here, there are 13 architectural astronomy instruments. He is said to be an avid astronomy enthusiast and built observatories in Jaipur, Delhi and Varanasi. With five observatories, the Jantar Mantar Observatory is the largest and most preserved. The materials used in the building are ancient sedimentary rock, but one can't see how old they are because they look very modern.
