Trip to Córdoba, Spain 🇪🇸
It was trip to Córdoba, Spain. Our adventure in Córdoba began with a visit to the iconic Mezquita, one of the most beautiful and historically significant landmarks in Spain🇪🇸 We were amazed by the stunning architecture, from the red-and-white striped arches to the vast prayer hall. The contrast of the Christian cathedral standing amidst the mosque’s Islamic elements made for incredible photos 📸 We recommend arriving early in the morning, as the light streaming through the windows creates a soft glow perfect for photography ✨ Plus, the crowds are lighter, giving you ample time to explore and capture every detail.
📍Calle Cardenal Herrero, s/n, 14003 Córdoba, Spain
We also explored the Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos, a majestic fortress with beautiful gardens, pools, and fountains. This place is perfect for photography 📸 especially in the well-maintained gardens with their lush greenery 🌱 and reflective waters 💦 The views from the tower are stunning, offering a panoramic shot of Córdoba’s historic center and the surrounding countryside 📸 We recommend visiting in the late morning or early afternoon when the light hits the gardens just right, adding a magical touch to your photos 🙌
📍Patio de la Sultana, s/n, 14004 Córdoba, Spain
We then walked to the Roman Bridge, which spans the Guadalquivir River. The bridge itself is an iconic landmark and offers great opportunities for photographs with its 16 arches and views of the city and the Mezquita. We crossed the bridge to visit the Calahorra Tower, which houses 🏘️ a museum and offers fantastic views of the entire area. If you’re an early riser or prefer golden hour ✨ shots, the sunset over the river makes for breathtaking photos 📸 with the soft evening light reflecting off the water 💦
📍Puente Romano, 14009 Córdoba, Spain
We also walked through the winding streets of the Jewish Quarter (La Judería), which is packed with history and photo-worthy corners 📸 The whitewashed buildings adorned with flowers and the narrow cobbled streets offer a beautiful, intimate atmosphere 😍 Don’t miss the Calleja de las Flores, a narrow alley with a stunning view of the Mezquita framed by vibrant flower pots 🌹 Early morning is the best time to capture the essence.

We took a short drive 🚗 to the Medina Azahara, a palatial city built by the Caliph of Córdoba in the 10th century. The ruins are incredibly well-preserved and offer stunning views of the surrounding hills ⛰️ The combination of intricate mosaics, marble columns, and distant views of the city below made for some of the most striking photos of our trip 📸 We recommend visiting late morning when the sun is high enough to highlight the ruins, making the stones appear even more dramatic ✨
