#July Travel Support Event I went to Bali not to travel around tourist attractions but to take time to rest, walk, and think. Bali is such a famous place that there are many options to choose from depending on your needs, but this time I spent a month focusing on places to rest and stay. There are three Gili Islands: Air, Meno, and Trawangan, and the west coast of Gili Meno and Gili Trawangan was a good place to stay and have a peaceful rest. I have traveled to Bali three times, but this time I stayed at Jatilui Rice Terraces, which is the first time I stayed, so rather than stopping by for a short while, I recommend finding a nearby accommodation and taking a long walk for a day or two. Most people who stop by for a short time on a tour choose a short course, but if you choose a long course of 4 hours or more, there are many places to rest, so you can experience a different kind of rest. Tegalarang is a place that almost all Bali tourists choose, and there are many cafes and clubs with great views. Among them, TIS Cafe, which is said to be the hottest recently, was my personal favorite. It has various cafe spaces and two pool spaces, so it is a good place to order drinks or food without an entrance fee and have a leisurely time. Since Bali is such a large and diverse place, it is possible to design a variety of courses according to the personal needs of travelers. #indonesiatrip Great place, so serene, peaceful and green. The hiking trails are well prepared. Take at least the orange route, if you have time then the white - it's not all the same same, you will see different things. The times are well exaggerated on the plan, although it depends on how fast you walk and how many times you stop for pictures :-). The white route is 5.5km but a bit of up and down, and it IS hot. You can get a coconut on the way (20k IRP), great if you're thirsty. The entrance to the area is I think 50k, parking costs too. The rice fields are beautiful, though, highly recommended.

Many people come to Bali and miss the scenery hidden in the jungle, which is Ubud. In Ubud, the terraced landscape is the livelihood of the locals, the traditional culture reflects their life, and this tree with more than 700 years of age bears witness to their faith. I like Ubud, it gives more meaning to coming to Bali than just a holiday. Leisure, religion, scenery, culture, primitive, mystery... A variety of unrelated and unequal vocabulary are mixed together here. After this slow travel in Indonesia, Ubud has directly become one of my favorite places. Its situation is complicated, the European and American tourists on the streets are almost more than the natives, yet it still maintains a feeling that won't let you forget you are in Southeast Asia. It is recommended to shoot at sunrise, around 5-6 in the morning, to capture the stunning Tyndall light.

Depending on the date you visit, the landscape changes a lot, I was unlucky to visit it when all the rice from all the fields had been harvested. This Rice Terrace is very photogenic and well worth the visit. The Jatiluwih rice terraces in north Bali are an oasis of beautiful greenery, peace, and countryside serenity. Yes, there are tourists, but unlike the hoards that descend on the rice terraces in Ubud to go on the swings and nests for Instagram likes, in Jatiluwih there is enough space for people to walk and bike while surrounded by the lush terrace fields and no gimmicky distractions. As must! It is unreal. Word heritage site and very peaceful. We did about 2 hours trekking, mostly flat ground. Quite muddy after the rain. You can rent bicycles too (if it’s sunny)! Entrance fee is about $2-3 pp. there are coffee shops and stuff too if you just want to take in the view without the walking. #newyearadventure
