Ecoland in Jeju is a picturesque and family-friendly destination where visitors can enjoy train rides through various themed stations, including flower gardens and beautiful lakes. We had a ton of fun in Ecoland, probably one of the places where we took a lot of pictures. The place was so refreshing, with minimal buildings and facilities.

Beautiful natural park and museum. We only spent 2-3 hours there but it needs 4-5 hrs to be fair. There is a lot of paths for trailing and unique spots for taking scenic shots. The museum is also great for kids to explore geographical backgrounds of Jeju islands and Korea. It is good to eat something as the cafes have great coffees but not a wide seletion of snacks or food.

Beautiful cafe with great vibes and fantastic service. Plenty of seating inside the main area and secondary area outside. The drinks and desserts were delicious.

Unlike the chilly sea breeze outside, the interior is warm, so you can feel comfortable while staying. The space is divided into the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors, and each floor provides convenient services such as smartphone chargers and wireless Wi-Fi. When you go up to the new 2nd floor, there are several tables where 2-3 people can sit, and the soft sofas make it comfortable to stay for a long time. On the 2nd floor, you can see the ocean view of the Iho Tewoo Beach lighthouse beyond Hyeonsapo Port. There were 3 tables where 3 people can sit, and you can enjoy coffee or dessert while looking at the blue sea, so it could be said to be a bakery cafe that is good to visit even on rainy days or when the weather is bad in Jeju Island. I ordered the signature menu, pistachio latte, and the Kaimak honey scone. The Kaimak scone with honeycomb, along with the sweet latte, was sweet and moist, and it was the softest scone I've had recently, captivating my taste buds.

Absolutely stunning! We were there in september and loved it! We went up Seongpanak trail, and down via Gwaneumsa. For at total of around 20km. We were unsure about how hard the trail would be, but it was really ok for two young people like us. We also saw a lot of elderly and kids. So it’s doable for most people. Gwaneumsa was quite a bit tougher, and you should be in good shape if you want to take it up. Remember to book! We recommend going before 8am, so that you don’t need to worry about making it up before the deadlines. And also have time to enjoy the top view!

This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed that! The value for the money is truly unmatched. Our room was gorgeous, I was stunned when we opened the door. It was extremely spacious with the best views of Jeju City one could ask for. We loved the shower, it was perfect water temp. The pool and amenities were amazing, we took so many photos of the sunset up there. The beds were comfortable. The room got nice and cool with the AC. Even the toilet was heated! We would come back to Jeju just to stay at this hotel, it was an amazing experience and we felt like true luxury.

The ferry runs every half hour and takes 15 minutes to reach Udo Island. You can rent a bicycle or electric scooter to circle the island. There are two ports on the island. Pay attention to the time of the last ferry. The same canola flower field as in "All That We Couldn't Leave Behind" is on Udo Island. I just got back from Jeju Island and want to share my honest thoughts with everyone. It was my first time traveling abroad, and I thought I had done enough research, but I still fell into many traps and was so tired that I had to lie down for two days after returning home to recover… I'm sharing my hard-earned experiences, so be sure to read this if you're planning to go! 📅 Itinerary log - Day 1: Got up at 4am to catch the plane, so sleepy I could barely open my eyes. Went straight to Hamdeok Beach and Woljeongri after dropping off my luggage in Jeju Island. Although it was raining, the misty seaside was quite atmospheric. In the evening, I strolled around Shilla Duty Free and Baojian Road, my legs were about to break, and I went back to the hotel to crash at 10pm. - Day 2: Chartered a car to Seopjikoji, the scenery was indeed beautiful! But Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak was just so-so, and the seafood wasn't tasty either. The most annoying thing was that when we went to Udo Island, the driver said he wouldn't go with us, so we had to rent bicycles ourselves, and we were really pressed for time. But the speedboat ride was quite exciting, which was the only consolation. - Day 3: Strolled around Chilseongro, which was similar to Baojian Road, nothing special. In the afternoon, I took some nice photos in Aewol, but because of lack of time, I didn't get to Hyeopjae Beach and Windmill Coast. If I had known that taking a taxi and splitting the fare wasn't expensive, I should have just taken a taxi! - Day 4: Rushed to catch the plane early in the morning, and it was already 3pm when I got home, I was completely exhausted… 💣 Big traps I fell into 1. Luggage tearjerker: Spring Airlines doesn't allow 20-inch suitcases as carry-on luggage! I saw on a third-party platform that it was allowed, but I had to pay extra for checked baggage on the spot, which cost me an extra three or four hundred RMB for the round trip, so painful! 2. The itinerary was too rushed: I was walking non-stop every day for four days, so tired that I doubted my life. You should set aside at least five days, and it's more appropriate to charter a car to play on the west side on the third day. 3. Transportation blunder: When going to Udo Island, be sure to find a driver who can take the car onto the island! Or just take a taxi and split the fare, don't rent a car yourself like we did, it's tiring and time-consuming. 4. Meaningless attractions: There's really no need to go to Chilseongro and Dongmun Market, and Korean food isn't as delicious as I imagined. I didn't go to the south side this time, and I heard it's so-so, but I want to try it again next time. 5. Accommodation suggestions: Although it's more expensive to stay by the sea, it's convenient to go to the attractions. Although it's far from the city center, it's enough to go to the airport and shopping once, so it's still worth the experience. 6. Bus blunder: Be sure to check the GPS when taking the bus! I asked the locals for directions, but I still took the bus in the wrong direction for one stop, so embarrassing… A little consolation I earned a few hundred RMB by buying things for my friends, which made up for some of the losses.
