#JapanFlightEvent Shopping at a supermarket during my trip to the US was a great experience that allowed me to experience the prices directly, beyond just shopping. I was able to gauge the cost of living in the US by comparing prices of each product, and it was interesting to see ingredients and bulk products that were different from those in Korea. In particular, it was fun to look at the prices of fruits and vegetables in the fresh food section, and to see various sauces and frozen foods that are hard to find in Korea. There were some parts where the prices felt expensive, but if you look for sale items, you can buy good items at surprisingly low prices. I definitely recommend visiting a local supermarket during your trip.

#JapanFlightEvent Shopping at an American mart was really fun. The scale and product composition were different from Korea, and it was refreshing, especially because there were so many different snacks, drinks, and local ingredients, so it was interesting just to look around. It was fun to slowly look around the large store and discover new products, and it was nice to be able to buy snacks and drinks that are hard to find in Korea. Also, using the self-checkout counter was a different experience. I thought that visiting a local mart while traveling was a good way to experience the culture of that country firsthand.

#JapanFlightEvent I bought Korean ramen at a mart in Palm Springs and ate it, and it tasted even better because I was traveling. American food is good, but sometimes when I miss Korean food, there is nothing as filling as ramen. I was happy to find a familiar brand of ramen at the mart, and when I brought it back to my hotel and boiled it, it tasted just like the one I had in Korea. The spicy and rich broth soothed my tired body during the trip, and I was satisfied that I could solve a simple but filling meal.

#JapanFlightEvent I really enjoyed the experience of buying wine and meat together at an American mart. The wine corner was filled with a variety of products, so it took a long time just to choose, and it was nice to be able to find wine at a reasonable price. The meat corner also exceeded my expectations. The American steak meat sold in large quantities was thick and had excellent marbling. After choosing a steak that seemed to go well with wine, I went back to my accommodation and cooked it myself, and was able to enjoy a wonderful meal that was just as good as a restaurant. I didn't know that shopping at a mart while traveling could be this enjoyable.
