There are so many hidden travel destinations in Cheongju 🥺 Today, instead of famous tourist destinations, I'll introduce 6 hidden travel destinations in Cheongju that even Cheongju residents don't know about 💗 1️⃣ Guryong Park (1-3) - A park that feels dreamy in the winter and refreshing in other seasons! Here you can see the exotic Guryong Cathedral and it is a hidden travel destination where you can take a lot of great photos🤩 2️⃣ Miraeji Hanok Village (4-5) - Did you know that there is a Hanok Village in Cheongju?🤭 If you want to feel the quiet charm of Hanok without many tourists, this is a must-visit place‼️ 3️⃣ Jeongbuk-dong Toseong (6-8) - It is a sacred site from the Three Kingdoms period and the only remaining square earthen fortress in Korea☺️ You can see the cool, wide open fields and take a great photo alone with a tree! There is a reed field nearby, so take some pictures here too 📷 4️⃣ Cheongju Hyanggyo (9) - This is a travel destination where our traditions remain, so it is especially recommended as a historical tourist attraction 💗 There is also a Hyangridan-gil road leading to Cheongju Hyanggyo, so take a look here too‼️ 5️⃣ Topdongyanggwan (10-11) - This is the first Western-style building in Cheongju, located inside Cheongju Ilshin Girls' Middle and High School. Since the pictures in front of this place come out really well, I recommend it as a hidden photo spot☺️ 6️⃣ Geotdaesan Gliding Field (12-13) - My personal favorite place in Cheongju! The stairs are well-made so that it's not dangerous, so it won't be too high and difficult to climb with kids. And as the sunset approaches, the color of the sky that changes is indescribable🤭 The parking lot is large and free, so drivers won't have to worry at all! I recommend "Cheongju Jeongbuk-dong Toseong" where you can teach your kids about Toseong, which is recognized as the oldest Toseong in Korea, and watch the sunset at the same time :)

Jeongbuk-dong Toseong, located about 10 minutes from downtown Cheongju, is a famous sunset spot. The photo zone next to the tree on top of the Toseong is well-known, and if you take a picture here, you can leave a picture that looks like a painting. #koreatrip Jeongbuk-dong Earthen Fortress is the only earthen fortress in Korea that maintains its original shape and is a square-shaped castle with a circumference of about 650 meters. Gate sites remain in the north, south, east, and west, and the south and north gates were built with the walls in a misaligned manner. This is an early form of Ongseong that prevented enemies from entering the fortress directly.

This is the Jeongbuk-dong Toseong, which is highly recommended for domestic travel, especially for inland travel in Chungcheong Province.
