This spectacular light show is the brainchild of renowned Japanese lighting designer Motoko Ishii. The term Jewellumination stands for jewels and lights, and it is brought to life by seven jewel colors: diamond, ruby, amber, topaz, emerald, sapphire and amethyst. The park is lit up by four million LED lights and divided into five colorful and themed areas: "Amusement Park", "Water Park", "Beautiful Stream", "Kawaii Park" and "Forest", with dance performances synchronized with lights and music. If you purchase an unlimited ride pass, you can also see these lights and the amazing night view of Tokyo from the top of the roller coaster or Ferris wheel.

Indulge in the Colors of the Four Seasons: A Fascinating Journey at Yomiuriland
Yomiuriland in Tokyo is like a hidden paradise nestled among the hills, offering different sceneries throughout the year. In spring, the park is adorned with blooming cherry blossoms, with pink petals dancing in the wind, creating a dreamy and romantic atmosphere. In autumn, the fiery red maple leaves decorate every corner of the park, captivating visitors. The most eye-catching attraction is the thrilling 'Bandit' roller coaster. With screams and gusts of wind, you can experience the exhilaration of speed and weightlessness, as if you are racing through time. The nighttime light show is another delightful surprise, with thousands of colorful lights illuminating the park, transforming the Ferris wheel and pathways into a fairy tale world. Here, you can enjoy numerous rides and performances, and savor authentic Japanese cuisine during your breaks. The laughter under the sun and the awe under the lights make Yomiuriland a place that brings unforgettable and wonderful memories to every visitor with its vibrant and joyful atmosphere throughout the four seasons.

Merry Christmas 2024🎄🎁🎅
Yomiuriland 🎡, which celebrates its 60th anniversary in 2024, had so much fun with its Jewel Illumination✨
———————————————
This season, which marks the 60th anniversary of the park's opening, is themed around "LIGHT is LOVE Diamond60celebration".
The Jewel Illumination, produced by my favorite world-renowned lighting designer Mikiko Ishii, was romantic and moving✨
In addition, the park had two Ferris wheels running simultaneously (until January 13, 2025), a spectacular fountain show, and plenty of attractions, so I had a blast😁
Personally, I loved the Lipovitan Rocket☆Luna ride‼ ️It's the first time in Japan that seats rotate in the sky. The staff member was working hard by himself... It was like "Fight Ippatsu!" 💪 lol
I recommend purchasing advance tickets 🎫 at 7-Eleven so you can enter without lining up. I enjoyed it with a Seven Ticket After Pass (entering the park at 3pm)! Be sure to come and enjoy the spectacular illuminations with Yomi Run

Such a special Jewellumination at Yomiuri Land
#magicalxmastrip
Yomiuri Land Jewelillumination started in 2010. In relation to the diamond wedding celebrating the 60th anniversary of the wedding with Yomiuri Land, which celebrated the 60th anniversary of the opening of the park, the theme of fiscal year 2024 is "LIGHT is LOVE ~ Diamond 60 Celebration ~". I hope that visitors and Yomiuri Land will be bound with an eternal bond full of love like diamonds, and express it with light. Spots inspired by the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the opening of the park and a new colour "Diamond Jewellery Colour" also appeared. The annual powerful fountain show is also a must-see. Mikiko Ishii, a lighting designer who is active in the world, will be the producer again this year.
