A lesser-known, great place for a spring outing, perfect for couples and families with children!
The Guizi Mountain Scenic Area is worth a visit. Adult tickets are 17/person, students get half price, and seniors over 70 can enter for free, which is very considerate.
Although the ticket price is not high, the scenic area has a lot to offer. Just inside the entrance, on the left-hand side, is a museum. At first, it seems small, but unexpectedly, it's quite spacious inside. The museum details the formation of the stone pillar forest and the appearance of various minerals. There's even a transparent glass cabinet displaying soil layers, allowing us to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the current geological structure.
The entire stone pillar forest is quite impressive. It was formed by the continuous squeezing of the Earth's crust, followed by magma erupting onto the surface, cooling, and contracting into hexagonal stone pillars.
This is a highly recommended attraction, very photogenic, and a great place for couples and families with children to enjoy a spring outing.
