Hey everyone, it's cherry blossom season again🌸! The cherry blossoms on Jianzhen Road in Yangzhou are absolutely stunning. Don't miss out—it's a once-a-year opportunity. Check out this guide now👇
🌸Best time to see the cherry blossoms
Mid-March to early April is the best time to visit! In mid-March, the early cherry blossoms are fresh and snow-white, perfect for capturing that Japanese healing aesthetic. From late March to early April, it's peak bloom, with pink snow falling everywhere—a must-see for hanfu and JK enthusiasts. In mid-April, the late cherry blossoms bloom in layers, creating a rich, oil-painting-like texture.
💰Ticket price
Free! Free! Free! I'll say it three times: it's free! Enjoy this stunning cherry blossom spectacle for absolutely nothing—what a bargain!
🚗Getting there
🚇Green travel is highly recommended! Take bus routes 5, 11, 25, 31, 39, 45, 50, 107, or the late-night 55. Get off at the Jianzhen Road bus stop, and the Cherry Blossom Avenue is within walking distance.
🚗For those driving, please note that Jianzhen Road is completely closed during the cherry blossom season, and no vehicles are allowed. Cars can be parked at the free temporary parking lot north of Daming Temple, accessible via Pingshantang East Road and Pingshan North Road. You can also park along the non-motorized lanes on both sides of Yangzijiang North Road, or in the temporary parking areas along Xifeng Road and Xihu Road.
📸Best photo spots
1. The arched flower corridor in the middle of the avenue: Shoot from a low angle looking up, with the pink canopy overhead like clouds or rosy clouds. It's super photogenic and will transport you to another world.
2. Cherry blossoms with Jianzhen Library: Stand under the cherry trees, with the Tang-style Jianzhen Library as your backdrop. Whether you're taking portraits or landscapes, it's incredibly atmospheric.
3. Cherry blossoms and the silhouette of Qiling Pagoda: At the intersection 50 meters in front of Jianzhen Library, stand on the eastern stone steps to frame both the cherry blossoms and Qiling Pagoda. Fifteen minutes after sunset, use your phone's pro mode, set the white balance to 4000k, and capture the glowing pink blossoms against the deep blue night sky—absolutely stunning!
❌Things to avoid
1. It gets super crowded on weekends. If you want to take great photos, try to go on a working day before 10am.
2. Ignore the people wearing masks and cosplaying as Sun Wukong. They'll ask to take photos with your kids, and then ask you to scan a code to pay them—it's a total scam.
3. The stone steps can be slippery after rain due to moss, so be careful when walking. Comfortable, non-slip shoes are recommended.
Hey everyone, grab your friends and head to Jianzhen Road Cherry Blossom Avenue for a romantic spring date. Don't forget to like and save this post💕
