Jindai Botanical Gardens, where you can enjoy flowers throughout the year, boasts the largest rose garden in Tokyo. With 5,000 rose bushes blooming in spring and autumn, the gardens are a sight to behold. In addition to azaleas, plum blossoms, and witch hazel, there's also a huge greenhouse for tropical plants and a wetland area for aquatic plants, offering a variety of plants to admire. Nearby is the Jindaiji Temple, which you can visit for a leisurely walk after exploring the botanical gardens. Jindai Botanical Gardens Transportation: Take a bus from Kichijoji Station, Mitaka Station, or Chofu Station to the Jindai Botanical Gardens bus stop.

I visited on March 31st. The entrance fee is 500 yen for adults. It was said that the Sakura Festival is held from March 23rd to April 7th, but some of the cherry blossoms had not yet bloomed. However, there were some trees blooming near the lawn, and some people were enjoying flower viewing. I was disappointed that the rose garden was not in bloom and thought I would like to visit again. There is a large greenhouse in the park, and inside the greenhouse, you could enjoy various types of flowers and plants. Among them, there was a plant that looked like Darth Vader, which was very interesting.

The Duoli Shindai Botanical Park is located in Chofu, on the outskirts of Tokyo, and can be reached by bus from Kichijoji Station or Chofu Station. In the winter when I visited last time, I will revisit this time. I hope to see the flowers that are open in the garden during the early summer. The park was originally built as a nursery for plants such as street trees in Tokyo. It was opened as a greenery of the gods after the war. In 1961, it was renamed the Shindai Plant Park. Next to is the Shenda Temple, one of the oldest temples in Tokyo. If you used to play it, you can go to the Shendai Botanical Park. The autumn of the Shendai Botanical Park is still very beautiful. The maple trees are especially tall, and there are also the grasses in the rose garden. The roses in the rose garden are all bloomed. Unfortunately, it rains on the day we go. It takes a lot of hours to turn around. It is very suitable for the elderly. People come and take a walk.
