I once visited the Tzu Chi Clinic for traditional Chinese medicine treatments. While waiting for my appointment, I strolled through the tranquil Jing Si Bookstore in the back courtyard. It was a peaceful place with books, health products, and a tea room. I could sense the Zen meaning of "One flower, one world; one leaf, one Tathagata." Today, while passing by Shiquan Street, I stumbled upon Jing Si Academy, which I assumed was related to Jing Si Bookstore. Intrigued, I stepped inside. Unexpectedly, I encountered both delight and disappointment. The delightful surprise was the vibrant pink magnolia blossoms in full bloom, attracting many photographers who admired and captured their beauty. The disappointment stemmed from the noise generated by the large number of photographers in certain areas, disrupting the tranquility and intended meaning of "Jing Si" (quiet contemplation).

The Erqiao Magnolias have recently become a popular spot for flower viewing, located at the southern end of Pingjiang Road on Ganjiang East Road, and the Erqiao Magnolias in the Master of the Nets Garden are in crowded areas. However, there is a free Jingsi Academy on Gunxiu Lane, which runs parallel to Shiquan Street, where eight Erqiao Magnolia trees are quietly blooming.
