Huangyao Ancient Town Travel Guide
Scenic spot tips: Huangyao is an ancient town with a history of nearly a thousand years. It originated in the Song Dynasty and is located in the lower reaches of the Li River. It is known as the "Little Guilin". It is a typical karst landform with numerous peaks, towering ancient trees and clear streams.

Transportation: Take the bullet train to Hezhou Station. There are special buses to Huangyao Ancient Town after you get out of the station. The ticket price is about 30 yuan, and the last round-trip bus is at 17:50. Pay attention to the time.

Dragon Claw Ficus: It is over 800 years old. Its shape is as its name suggests. Its drooping branches resemble majestic dragon claws, holding up an umbrella of dense shade, just like a landscape painting with a strong ancient charm.
Dailong Bridge: First built during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, it is the largest stepped stone arch bridge in the ancient town. There is a gurgling stream under the bridge and rows of ancient trees on both sides. It was once the filming location for the beautiful movie "The Painted Veil".
Immortal Ancient Well: The ancient well has a unique shape and is composed of several square pools connected together. According to the direction of the water flow, it is divided into five pools for drinking water, washing vegetables, washing clothes, and washing hands. The spring water in the well is inexhaustible all year round and is rich in various trace elements.
There are also many attractions such as the ancient theater, stone streets, Huangyao Post Office, etc. You can walk around and experience the customs of the thousand-year-old town.
