Liaoning | • Benxi • Tieshashan • See a different winter snow scene
|•Benxi•Tieshashan•See a different kind of winter snow scenery. 🏞️Benxi not only has stunning maple leaves, but also has great mountain and water scenery. On the way to Tieshashan Mountain, you can see fog rising in the mountains and water flowing at the foot of the mountain. I think people who like natural scenery will definitely fall in love with this city.
🏯Jiuding Tiesha Mountain has a long history. Legend has it that the immortal Li Changmei cultivated himself and attained enlightenment here. Guo Shouzhen, the founder of the Longmen School of Taoism in Northeast China, became a monk here in the third year of Chongzhen in the Ming Dynasty (1630), thus creating the history of the Longmen School of Taoism in Northeast China.
📆In the third year of Chongzhen in the Ming Dynasty (1630), Taoist Guo Shouzhen went into the mountains and lived in Yunguang Cave for more than ten years of meditation. He also accepted disciples and preached, which marked the beginning of Guandong Taoism. He was later honored as the ancestor of Guandong Taoism. This mountain is also known as the birthplace of Northeast Taoism in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties.
