On April 22nd, early in the morning, I purchased a bus ticket at the Tunxi Bus Terminal for the 8:00 AM bus to Mount Jiuhua, thinking it would take us to the Jiuhua Mountain Tourist Center. However, it turned out to be a passing bus that stopped at a place called Wuxi before Jiuhua Mountain. Fortunately, the coach driver arranged for a taxi for the four of us going to Mount Jiuhua to wait for us at Wuxi, charging 10 yuan per person to take us to the Jiuhua Mountain Tourist Center. Next to the tourist center was a long-distance bus station, where I inquired about the last bus to Chizhou, which leaves at 4:30 PM. At 11:10 AM, I took the scenic area bus to Jiuhua Street, and after getting off, I immediately took the cable car to Bai Sui Palace, coming down at 12:00 PM. At 12:50 PM, I took the cable car to Tiantai. The mountain was shrouded in thick fog. I reached Tiantai at 1:35 PM. Looking at the tourist map, it would take 4 hours to walk from Tiantai to Huatai. After asking a vendor on Tiantai, they said it would take 3 hours. I calculated that if I couldn't catch the last bus, I would stay overnight on Mount Jiuhua. After a short rest, I set off for Huatai at 1:50 PM. Despite the misty clouds along the way, the scenery was still majestic and spectacular, somewhat reminiscent of Mount Tianzhu. At 3:35 PM, I took the cable car down from Huatai. Eventually, I caught the 4:30 PM bus to Chizhou.
