Chongqing Bookstore | Junge Bookstore
Location: Railway Fifth Village (Air Raid Shelter Store) / Triangle Road of Railway Fourth Village (next to the railway) in Huangjueping Street, Jiulongpo District, Chongqing City (⚠️PS: There are two Junge Bookstores, one in the air raid shelter and one next to the abandoned railway)
🚘Transportation: Bus 823 Huangjueping Station➡️230 meters (4 minutes walk) ➡️Junge Bookstore (Air Raid Shelter Store) ➡️330 meters (6 minutes walk) ➡️Junge Bookstore (⚠️ PS: There are currently no shared bicycles in Chongqing, probably due to the terrain, it is recommended to take a taxi for convenience)
🌟Advantages:
1⃣️It belongs to the nostalgic old bookstore of the local area, and various old-fashioned objects have a sense of age;
2⃣️It is not far from the graffiti street of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, you can take a look around;
3⃣️The old site is next to the abandoned railway, with a very atmospheric feel, surrounded by graffiti, the old bookstore and colorful graffiti collide with a different kind of fun;
4⃣️The new site is in the air raid shelter, making full use of the existing space with unique features;
5⃣️Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, enjoy a quiet solitude;
6⃣️Both the abandoned railway and the air raid shelter are suitable for photo check-ins.
😣Disadvantages:
1⃣️The new site is okay, the old site is really dilapidated, basically just a few broken houses, there is not much to see;
2⃣️The location is indeed biased, coupled with the terrain of Chongqing, and at first did not distinguish between the new and old sites, from the graffiti street, all the way is a small path of steps, also passed through the old community, walked a section of abandoned railway, only to the old site, thought I was lost, then wanted to go back to the main road and suddenly arrived at the new site;
3⃣️What initially attracted me was the novelty of being in the air raid shelter, and in the end I found that there was only a small section of fifty or sixty meters in the air raid shelter, and there was nothing further in.
