The hotel is 20.6 kilometers away from Yalong Bay Station by car, and it is located at No. 32, Haitang North Road, Haitang District. Explore along the 21.8-kilometer coastline and encounter beautiful secrets in the depths of the coconut grove. The red house appears, the traces ripple over, and the feeling gradually becomes clear. The island's sunshine is sprinkled in the courtyard fountain, the red tiles reflect the light and shadow of the world, and you can feel a different European exotic style by strolling in the garden. Spanish architectural style, red pottery barrel tiles, continuous arches, every room and corner can take big shots. The high garden coverage rate is a private and low-density resting place. The hotel is located in the center of Haitang Bay, and it takes less than 10 minutes by car to reach the duty-free shop, Atlantis Water World and the neighboring Haitang 68 Global Food Street. If you walk straight from the hotel garden, you can reach the beach. The traffic location can be said to be very convenient. The hotel rooms are super large, well-lit, and the bedding is clean and tidy. You can choose a view room with a balcony, where you can stand on the balcony during the day to overlook the charming sea view, watch the blue sky and white clouds, and feel the leisure and ease of the light clouds and breeze. At night, you can also blow the sea breeze and look at the night view outside the balcony to feel the tranquility of the seaside night. The JW Marriott Sanya Haitang Bay is one of my favorite hotels in Sanya. I've stayed here three times now, and I love the tranquility, quality, and consistently excellent service. 1. After the rebranding, the main building rooms at the Haitang Bay JW Marriott have been refreshed and maintained. While the furniture hasn't changed much (it will be updated later), the rooms are spacious (starting at 70 sq m) and each has a private balcony. The ocean view rooms offer stunning vistas of lush greenery and the vast sea. The room layout and decor are also well-designed, featuring a modern, minimalist style with a bright, predominantly white color scheme. 2. For families traveling with children, the hotel offers a variety of room types, including family rooms, Paul Frank Pool Family Rooms, and open-plan family suites, suitable for families of three or four. Kindly note that the family rooms have a 0.9m single bed suitable only for children, located next to the master bedroom for easy access and supervision. 3. Beyond the main building are the villas. The villa rooms remain largely unchanged and are well-maintained. I once again stayed in a one-bedroom pool villa, which offers privacy and tranquility in a spacious 181 sq m layout. It features a large living room, bedroom, bathroom, and walk-in closet, providing luxurious comfort and freedom. The highlight is the private outdoor pool, perfect for swimming and playing. For those seeking undisturbed aquatic fun, the villa's private pool is the ideal spot. 4. The villa area is perfect for couples and families. In addition to one-bedroom villas, there are also two-bedroom options available. Nestled among tropical vegetation, the villas offer a secluded retreat away from the main building, with private courtyards and lush gardens creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. 5. Dining at the hotel offers a plethora of choices. The newly renovated Aqua Pavilion is perfect for a romantic dinner for couples or a family meal. Dining seats are available by the pool and inside the Peacock Pavilion. Surrounded by greenery and water, with live music adding to the ambiance, the restaurant offers a romantic and tranquil setting with a degree of privacy. The Aqua Pavilion serves Western cuisine as well as hot pot set meals. Currently, a two-person hot pot set is priced at just CNY 198, including Alaskan king crab legs, Hainan three-spot swimming crab, crystal squid, premium grain-fed beef, Hainan Wenchang chicken, and Teochew beef balls, offering excellent value. 6. You can also dine at the Chinese restaurant, Cai Yue Xuan. (It's worth noting that the JW Marriott and Sheraton resorts in Haitang Bay are sister properties, and their restaurants are shared and within close proximity.) I have fond memories of the "Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea" seafood feast here. It's a great place to savor authentic Hainan flavors. Currently, Marriott hotels in Hainan are running a "Marriott Hainan Gourmet" promotion with various set menus at reasonable prices. 7. For a relaxing break, the JW Lobby Lounge is an excellent choice. With open views and good ventilation, it's the perfect place to unwind with coffee, tea, afternoon tea, or cocktails. If you’re looking for a quick and easy China getaway, sans crowds of people, the JW Marriott on Haitang Bay is perfect. While the waters of the Bay prohibit swimming, just get the Pool Access Room. You can wake up early for a morning dip or float your cares away in the evening, without ever really the need to leave your room if that suits you. We enjoyed poolside coconuts, room service and the floating unicorn provided by the hotel! The restaurant is lovely in the evening if you DO want to venture out, with a beautiful garden view. Staff are very accommodating.
