Jypsy Singapore
The new menu veered away from its casual café-friendly concept to one that’s heartier and unique. The 𝗧𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝗪𝗮𝗴𝘆𝘂 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗽𝘆 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗿𝗶 is made with foie gras and wagyu beef, cooked aburi-style and topped with black truffle sauce. The buttery richness of the foie gras perfectly complements the smokiness of the torched wagyu, definitely a must-have! 🐄 The 𝗝𝘆𝗽𝘀𝘆 𝗧𝗼𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗲 & 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗲𝗸 is our favourite - tender and full of fatty flavour! Don’t be intimidated by the meat cuts used, there wasn’t a trace of gaminess but a full flavour from its natural jus. 🥩
They reintroduced their 𝗡𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀, which is known for its iconic stacked look. Despite its amazing presentation, we felt it was difficult to eat; it was our first time using a knife for fries. 😅 Taste-wise, the wasabi mayo carried its otherwise ordinary taste. For cocktails, we had the 𝗜𝗽𝗽𝗼 𝗗𝗮𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗶, which is made with rum, pandan and yuzu. It has a tart, sweet flavour with a distinct pandan aftertaste, making it a safe bet for occasional drinkers. 🍸
