Yeoncheon with a beautiful and tranquil Hanok view < Serabi Hanok Cafe >
From the entrance, there are jangdokdae lined up on both sides,
and at the end is the entrance to the Hanok Cafe.
I couldn't help but take a picture of the entrance to the Hanok Cafe that blends in with the blue sky. There were several annex buildings in addition to the main building, and there were outdoor tables in the middle, so the space was quite spacious. Since the weather was nice, I sat at an outdoor table, and it was quiet even though I went on the weekend. It was nice to chat.
There was coffee for drinks, but there were Serabi's own drinks made with oats, yulmu, and beans. I had one of their signature drinks, Yeoncheon Oat Latte. It was unfamiliar to make a drink with oats, but it was richer and tastier than I thought!
📍Location: 134 Gunjung-ro, Gunnam-myeon, Yeoncheon-gun, Gyeonggi-do
📍Parking lot: Use the parking lot in front of the cafe

There are many places, and dogs are allowed outdoors🐶
A cute dog was sleeping in the shade😴

I ate Yeoncheon Yulmu Sikhye

Horogoru in Yeoncheon, near Seoul, famous for its sky stairs🌳
It is a place famous for its sunflower fields near Seoul,
but it was already a hot place on SNS for its Sky Staircase, and it is also famous as a filming location for the drama VIP, Yeoncheon Horogoru!
Even in the season without sunflowers, when you climb the Sky Staircase on a green hill,
it feels like you are touching the sky. It was a place where you felt a strange feeling.💙
If possible, I recommend visiting on a day when the sky is clear and pretty.
There is no admission fee, so it is good to go to Horogoru and eat Manghyang Bibim Guksu as a course for traveling to Yeoncheon!

Hot place in fall, Yeoncheon Dapsari Park💚
This is Imjingang Dapsari Park in Yeoncheon near Seoul💚
⠀
When I went, the Dapsari was green,
but you can see zinnias and yellow cosmos👀
⠀
When even the Dapsari turns red,,
Isn't that autumn?🍂
⠀
It's wide, so it's good for taking pictures with various angles,
and on weekdays, there aren't many people,
so it's great for taking a leisurely walk!
⠀
I love flowers so much... 🫶🏻

Yeoncheon Horogoru
A small hill behind a landscape full of sunflowers. Horogoru, which I saw on Instagram and loved the scenery so much that I just saved it. (Even the name is pretty.)
I'll introduce you to a very pretty park where flowers are in full bloom right now. It takes about 2 hours from Seoul, so it was great to drive and get some fresh air.
! There are a lot of flowers, so there are a lot of bees^^

The round and green daffodils are so cute🌳
Personally, the daffodils that turn red in the fall are pretty, but I like the green ones better,,💚
(Official) Main Photo Zone divided into the daffodils zone and the yellow cosmos zone with only one door leading to it ◡̈
I couldn't choose from 10 photos, so I'm uploading the feed twice🫣
It was so big that I couldn't see everything
It seems like the zinnias are blooming everywhere, so please go around every corner and see all the zinnias, sunflowers, yellow cosmos, zinnias, and daffodils〰️🫶🏻

Yeoncheon #Serabee Hanok Cafe is located in
#Yeoncheon Miracle Town!
You can enjoy a quiet scenery and leisure in a wide and open Hanok complex 🥺
The stylish and stylish Hanok building and the cafe boasting a large scale
have no corners that aren't pretty,
and even if you just sit or stand, it becomes a photo zone📸
A great place to visit for healing❤️

How about escaping the heat of Hantangang River and visiting the wonderful Hantangang Prehistoric Museum?^^
I highly recommend this unique prehistoric museum, which has a park, fountain, cafe, and good air conditioning, as well as places for children to experience and take pictures. The most surprising thing is that admission and parking are free!!

I went to the place that Park Bogum also went to😊
This is Yeoncheon Herb Village, which is also well-known as the filming location for the drama 'Record of Youth'~!
Since it is not a well-known place, there were not many people, so I was able to take a quiet walk and look around.
There are photo zones decorated here and there, so it seems like a good place to go with children. It would be good to go in spring/fall!!
If you go to Yeoncheon, you must try ⭐️spicy crab stew⭐️
The broth is different from regular crab stew!

Sad story, wonderful nature, Yeoncheon Jaein Falls
Jaein Falls, famous for its 18m high basalt columnar joint waterfall. A refreshing waterfall with a natural masterpiece as the backdrop.
However, you must always be careful because the columnar jointing is still progressing. Rocks may fall from somewhere.
Once upon a time, a Jaein man and a pretty wife lived together. The village headman coveted the pretty wife, so he ordered the Jaein man to walk on a tightrope at Jaein Falls, cut the rope, and killed him before taking the wife. It is said that the wife bit the headman's nose while holding a water pipe and committed suicide.

There is a valley in front, and the atmosphere is good even if you drink at the rooftop
The day I went, it rained a lot, so I only took a few pictures at the rooftop, but I think the atmosphere would be even better if you go on a nice day

Review of the past sunflower
This is Yeoncheon ‘Horogoru’!! This is a special place that blooms in September😊 It rained last week so it was over… But I’m still writing a review so that you can visit next year🙋🏻
I didn’t plan on going here but stopped by on the way and it was the most abundant and vibrant sunflower I’ve seen this year:)
When I saw it in Basil last time, it was a little withered, but here it was so vibrant that it was really nice to just see the sunflowers:)
The flower language of sunflowers is ‘pride’. After learning the flower language, the sunflowers seemed to stand more proudly😊
This year, it’s been fun to learn one or two flower languages!

If you go to Yeoncheon, visit this place too
There was a charming place called Daepsari Park in Yeoncheon:)
The road leading here is very narrow, so it is inconvenient to pass through, but beautiful cosmos greeted us on both sides from the entrance😊 When I saw the yellow cosmos, I could feel that fall was coming:)
It was a nice place to take a walk and heal quietly, so if you have a chance to go to Yeoncheon, I recommend stopping by once 😊
The Daepsari will soon become even more beautiful, so if you visit after Chuseok, you will be able to see even more colorful Daepsari!

Where do you think of the most for a nostalgic trip?
I often reminisce about my trips during COVID-19 by looking at photos.
I visited Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi-do.
It is the upper part of Gyeonggi-do and is adjacent to North Korea, so I think it was nice to be able to see the DMZ from the typhoon observatory.
Taking photos of the DMZ was prohibited, but I think it was a good trip because I was able to see Yeoncheon Jaein Falls and the observatory where I could see the DMZ.
Jaein Falls was a good memory because it was the day after it rained, so the water was falling heavily and the scenery was beautiful.
If you live in Seoul or the area near Seoul, I recommend going on a day trip.

I visited Serabi Cafe, a hanok cafe, while traveling to Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi-do.
I also visited Serabi Hanok Cafe while visiting Yeoncheon in the summer.
I ordered Sikhye, iced Americano, and shaved ice, and the shaved ice was really, really delicious.
The combination of Sikhye and shaved ice was pretty good.
It was a very enjoyable trip because I was able to drink delicious shaved ice, Sikhye, and coffee at a cafe I visited casually while traveling.

The signature coffee with yulmu (Job's tears) and the combination of strawberry latte with yulmu cream was intriguingly delicious :) It was a bit disappointing that there were no breads available when I visited, but the use of baskets as decor showcased great creativity^^ Familiar Korean songs played on the gayageum as background music perfectly matched the concept of 'Yeoncheon Hall,' making it a very heartwarming café!!💕

C'est La Vie Hanok Cafe in Yeoncheon: A Must-Visit Spot
This was my first time visiting a large cafe with a traditional Hanok style, and it was absolutely beautiful with an amazing atmosphere! 🌸 While sunny days are great, I think rainy days add an even more charming vibe. ☔ They offer apple juice that kids can enjoy, and my husband was delighted with the Ssanghwa-tang (a traditional herbal tea), so everyone was satisfied! 🍏🍵 The soybean cream croissant was filled with rice cake and plenty of red bean paste, making it a hit with the kids too. 🥐 There's ample parking space, and the front yard is adorned with jars, giving us a unique and refreshing experience! 😊

Ancient Vibes at Yeoncheon Horogoru Ruins
#summervacay If you’re looking for a low-key spot that’s off the beaten path, Yeoncheon Horogoru Ruins are a neat little surprise. It’s not flashy or crowded, bjust some old ruins sitting quietly in nature that give you a glimpse into Korea’s ancient past. The area is super chill to stroll around, with open grassy spaces and trees all around.
There aren’t tons of signs or explanations, but honestly, that adds to the vibe. It feels like a secret place where you can imagine what life was like centuries ago while wandering the old stone foundations. It’s peaceful and quiet, perfect for anyone wanting a break from busy tourist spots and some easy, relaxed history vibes.

Castle Core in the Countryside
#summervacay Looking for something totally unexpected and a little whimsical? Yeoncheon’s Eundae-ri Castle is where it’s at. Tucked away in the peaceful countryside, It’s not huge or super historical, but it is super photogenic and has a vibe that’s hard to beat.
The architecture is all old-world charm, and walking around the grounds gives you that “wait, where am I?” feeling in the best way. It’s quiet, not touristy, and just quirky enough to make the trip feel special. You won’t need hours here, maybe 30 minutes to an hour, but it’s the perfect little detour if you’re road-tripping or in the area.
Bring your camera, grab a snack, and enjoy the chill setting. Whether you’re into cool buildings or just want a break from the usual, this place is a solid win. It’s random, peaceful, and has just enough magic to make you smile.

Yeoncheon Green Dal Café: A Hidden Gem in the Forest
Yeoncheon Green Dal Café is a true 'view spot' where the sound of the valley stream tickles your ears. Nestled like a hidden gem in the forest, it offers a refreshing breeze along the cool valley during summer, with expansive natural scenery unfolding before your eyes.
This place is not just for enjoying coffee. Children can splash around joyfully in the cool valley waters, while adults can dip their feet and savor a moment of relaxation away from daily life. Especially, the outdoor seating overlooking the valley is the 'prime spot of all prime spots'! To secure this spot, arriving early is a must.
During summer, its popularity is so high that the spacious parking lot quickly fills up, requiring visitors to park further up.
With clear streams, lush green trees, and a refreshing drink in hand, this café is highly recommended as the ultimate summer valley water play destination to beat the heat!
