Walking around the Old Town Kaleici is interesting due to history and architecture with lots of interesting local shops. The town is built on a hillside so you are either walking upbank or down bank interspersed with steps here and there - people with mobility issues might struggle getting around. There is a great tram service that takes you into Antalya city or local beaches. Also lots of taxis. There are plenty of money exchange bureaus and we found the exchange rates much better there than at at home. The scenery here in Kaleici is so beautiful that it is the most memorable place in Turkey. When I went there, the sun was shining, just out of the blue Mediterranean Sea, allowing me to quietly admire the city.  There is a variety of food stores, specialty shops, local people on the road, and leisurely fishing on the shore that you can find. You can stop for a cup of apple tea in the outdoor seating of the café. You can purchase lovely tea sets in one of the many shops on the street as well. It is the perfect place for a lazy vacation in the sun.
