🇯🇵Attractions in Fukuoka, Japan⛩️ Homangu Kamado Shrine🌸
It is a 10-20 minute walk from Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine. If you visit Tenmangu Shrine, just walk straight ahead to reach Kamado Shrine. Of course, if you are too lazy to walk, the bus stop is at Dazaifu Station. It's just across the street and the drive takes only 8-10 minutes.
Kamado Shrine is divided into the Upper Shrine and the Lower Shrine. You can reach the Lower Shrine directly next to the bus stop. Climb up the stairs and you will see the shrine surrounded by dense trees. When we went there, there were only a few cherry blossoms left. If you go there during the cherry blossom season, the scenery will definitely be more beautiful.
Kamado Shrine itself has a history of more than 1,300 years. Because it shares the same name as Tanjiro, the shrine has attracted more people's attention and footprints, making the ema become very distinctive.

Came here
Came here on my lunch break to check this out. One thing I can say is that it is just a usual Japanese Shrine. Not sure of the historical significance of this. Cool place to check out if you have the time.

We took the Traveler from Hakata Bus Terminal to Dazaifu. I was lucky enough to eat the unique pentagonal-shaped Ichiran Ramen🍜 without having to queue up early in the morning. After using it, I walked slowly along Omotesando towards Tenmangu Shrine. I passed the Starbucks made of two thousand wooden slats and felt the natural atmosphere of the beauty of Kengo Kuma's architecture. Because there were too many people, I only took pictures outside.
Since you come to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, you must try Umee mochi. This restaurant has indoor seating and provides hot tea, so you can enjoy a relaxing time together.
Since I arrived earlier, Tenmangu Shrine was not crowded yet, so I could stroll around and take photos leisurely.
The popular Demon Slayer Shrine (Homangu Kamado Shrine) is not far from Tenmangu Shrine, about 2.1 kilometers away. After searching 🔍, I found that it can be reached by bus.

Homangu Shrine Kamado Shrine: You can see hydrangeas in June
Homangu Shrine Kamado Shrine
🕰️Opening hours: 09:00-18:00
💞Recommendation reason: You can see the hydrangea season (あじさい also known as hydrangea) in June. Hydrangeas will be placed on the shrine trail, making the whole look more dreamy. If you come in autumn, you can enjoy the maple leaves, which makes me look forward to coming again in autumn.
There is a bus stop on the left side of the road from the Dazaifu Station exit. There are two buses per hour. It is recommended to confirm the time before waiting. The ticket fare is 100 yen per trip and can be paid by transportation card or cash. The ride takes about 10 minutes.

Kyushu Sakura in Japan|Known as the Holy Land of Demon Slayer😍
In addition to Tenmangu Shrine, there is also a Kamado Shrine in Dazaifu, Fukuoka⛩️
It is only a four-minute drive from Tenmangu Shrine.
There is a parking lot outside the shrine entrance, which is very convenient!
There are much fewer people than Tenmangu Shrine.
And the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, it is definitely a good place to enjoy the cherry blossoms🌸
This is the gathering place for fans of the Japanese manga Demon Slayer
A lot of people come to draw Demon Slayer Ema
Everyone draws beautifully and cutely 😍
The amulet here is also worth buying, it is in the shape of a strawberry🍓
It's a cozy, chic feeling here.
Don't miss this place when you go to Dazaifu!

Mount Homan is open for climbing and is said to be the mountain with the most climbers in Kyushu. In October 2010, Mt. Homan was designated as a religiously significant mountain, "Lishan," and its historical and cultural value was recognized, and it was designated as the third National Historic Site.
Kamado Shrine: The upper shrine is located at the top of Mt. Homan, and the lower shrine is located at the foot of the mountain. It is said that in the 7th century, when the Dazaifu government office was established, in order to resolve the bad omen in the northeast, eight million gods were worshipped on the top of Mt. Kamado (now Mt. Homan), which was the origin of Kamado Shrine. The main deity of the shrine is Tamayorihime, the mother of Emperor Jimmu. She is regarded as the deity of marriage and is worshipped by everyone. The cherry blossoms and azaleas can be seen in the spring, and the maple leaves can be seen in the fall, attracting believers and tourists from inside and outside the prefecture. In 2012, the shrine invited architects and interior designers active around the world to build the shrine office and sanshuden, which attracted attention by combining tradition and modernity.
Red Leaf Festival: Usually held in the last week of November every year. At that time, there will be mini music performances and food markets at the shrine. There is also a red leaf illumination show at night!
