One of the torii gates stands on the rugged coastline facing the ocean while waves crash around the gate. The name of this gate is Kamiiso-no-Torii, and represents the place where the gods landed. This shrine is also famous among fans of the anime series "Girls und Panzer”. Many ema prayer plaques at the shrine feature illustrations of the characters from the anime drawn by visiting fans.
