Kamishikimi Kumanoimasu Shrine is located southeast of Mount Aso, and transportation is not very convenient. We drove here, and there is a dedicated free parking lot by the roadside. The entrance is a stone staircase that goes uphill, flanked by nearly a hundred stone lanterns and torii gates covered in moss, exuding a solemn atmosphere among the towering trees. At the end of the mountain path, behind the simple shrine, there is a large wind cave called To-no-Iwa, a naturally formed giant circular hole.
