First visit: What is this? 😔 Second visit: Wow, so nice to stroll and like 🤩 Following the 📍Kamo River, you usually go to the place shown in picture 2, which is also my first impression of Kamo River haha~ There are stairs at both ends of the bridge that you can walk down, and many locals like to sit by the river and chat, which is very pleasant 🍃~ Walk straight along the river, turn at the intersection shown in picture 5, and the whole street is full of surprises, with many famous shops such as Lelabo (coffee shop), blue bottle☕️, Sayori chestnut cake🍰, wife&husband🍞, etc., all on this street~ Little tips📝 1⃣️There are two subway stations that can take you to Kamo River 🚇: Kiyomizu-Gojo Station, after exiting, follow the location to get to the river as shown in picture 2 🚇: Kyoto Kawaramachi Station, after exiting from Exit 1, turn right and you will see the street with many beautiful shops 👣But no matter which station you get off at, you can walk to the other side~ 2⃣️Shops in Kyoto are very laid-back, and it's normal for them to close 3-4 days a week. Imagine being surrounded by fully bloomed cherry blossoms—it's truly breathtaking! ⏰ Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, recommended visit duration is 1.5-2 hours. 🚗 Transportation: Search for Daigoji Temple; accessible by bus and subway, approximately 40-50 minutes from Kyoto city center (a bit long but worth it). 🎫 Tickets: Daigoji Temple has three gardens, and a ticket is required to view the cherry blossoms. The all-access pass costs 1,500 yen, allowing entry to all gardens. Tickets are available at the entrance of each garden; if one ticket booth is crowded, you can purchase at the other two.
