Music Box Forest is located on the shore of Lake Kawaguchi, across the lake from the majestic Mount Fuji. The park has buildings and streets like the mansions of European medieval royal families. It not only serves as a music museum and collects various classical music boxes, the world's largest doll automatic organ, and the automatic musical instrument that was originally installed on the Titanic. There is also a rose garden where you can take a leisurely stroll, and you can make your own music box in the experience workshop. The world's largest "Doll Automatic Playing Pipe Organ" is located in the pipe organ hall. It was built by the Belgian company Motie. One machine can play the orchestra alone. At the same time, there will be 43 dolls playing with the music, like It's like a ball in medieval Europe. In the center of the 25,000-square-meter spacious garden is the "Jongnak Plaza" with an organ clock. There are two art galleries, two gardens, ponds, and restaurants around it. It is full of European medieval style and is perfect for a leisurely stroll. Rose Garden The Rose Garden has 3,500 roses of 720 species. The whole garden is filled with the fragrance of roses during the flowering season. The colorful roses are in full bloom, and they compete with Mount Fuji and are beautiful. Of course, in addition to roses, other seasons also have their own seasonal flowers, it can be said that the four seasons are picturesque. Twilight Landscape Light Music Box Forest will hold a landscape light event every year, when the whole garden is like a dream, as if entering the world of fairy tales. The exact time of the event varies from year to year, but is generally in winter.

I prefer Lake Yamanaka to Lake Kawaguchiko for viewing Mount Fuji.
It is said that Mount Fuji rewards early risers.
Compared to Lake Kawaguchiko, I prefer Lake Yamanaka.
Although there was no "reverse Fuji," I was already very satisfied.
There was sunrise, swans, and Mount Fuji.
🚗6:30 Hirano Lakeside (Hirano no Hama)
Took a taxi to Hirano no Hama. There were swans, sunrise, and Mount Fuji.
🚴10:00 Shiratori-hama
After 7:00, there's a bus. Took the bus back to the hotel and rented a bicycle with electric assist. It wasn't tiring. Cycling around the lake took 2 hours. Gave up on "the park" as it opens at 11:00 and there were already many people waiting for viewing spots at 10:00. But actually, just a little bit past "the park," the scenery was also amazing. There's no need to wait specifically. After cycling around the lake, had brunch at Denny's. In the afternoon, took a bus to Lake Kawaguchiko. A perfect day.
❗️Tips
The lake bus only starts running at 7:00. To see the sunrise early, you need to take a taxi or stay near Hirano.
There are swans in many places, especially at Shiratori-hama, and also at Hirano.
Bicycle rentals are available from 9:00 for JPY 2,000 for two hours. Rented from an elderly gentleman near Shiratori-hama.
Two hours is enough to cycle around the lake and take photos.
You can choose a hotel in Hirano or near a bus stop, which is very convenient.

【Kawaguchiko】Mount Fuji attractions recommended! Fuji's stunning scenery is a must-see in your lifetime!
The World Heritage "Mount Fuji" is the highest mountain in Japan, with an altitude of 3,776 meters. It spans Yamanashi Prefecture and Shizuoka Prefecture and is the most important symbol of Japan.
The best place to view Mount Fuji is Lake Kawaguchi, one of the Fuji Five Lakes. At Lake Kawaguchi, you can see the entire Mount Fuji 🗻 reflected on the lake, a unique landscape called "Reverse Fuji" 🗻. The best time to see Mount Fuji is during the winter months of December and January. The dreamy scenery of the top of Mount Fuji in winter covered with misty white snow❄️❄️ is truly unforgettable!

Visit the Music Box Museum! Listen to melodious music + visit European-style buildings
As soon as I entered the Kawaguchiko Music Box Museum, I was shocked - this place is so beautiful! What you see before your eyes are buildings with retro European-style designs, making you feel as if you are in Europe; at the same time, you can hear bursts of melodious music, making it seem as if you are in the unreal world of a music box!
As you walk, you will see small bridges and flowing water, wishing pools, fountains, restaurants, souvenir shops, and different concert halls, creating a poetic and picturesque atmosphere. It is recommended to check the performance times so as not to miss the wonderful performances.
This afternoon, I enjoyed the music box exhibition and performance, as well as the organ performance. I was surrounded by beautiful and pleasant music, and I felt so relaxed and at ease.
Even if you don’t particularly like music, it’s still worth coming here to take a break from your busy life! #TokyoFreeTravel #MusicBoxMuseum #Kawaguchiko #MusicFountain #MusicTheme

The museum stands on the shores of Lake Kawaguchi with a spectacular view of Mt. Fuji, but it was cloudy and Mt. Fuji was lost. The museum is like a little Europe. It was beautiful.

Mount Fuji In-depth Tour Day 5
This day was different from the bad weather of the previous day. It cleared up. Before leaving the B&B, we saw the big Mt. Fuji. We are going back to downtown Tokyo today. We will first leave our luggage at the station. We will take the bus to the scenic spot. Since we have to come back to take the bus, we choose a store that is closer. The first stop is the Kubota Ichitake Museum. We didn’t plan to visit the museum. We just wanted to take pictures on Maple Leaf Avenue. We didn’t expect that we could go directly into the museum to the ticket office. The whole thing is very similar to the scene of Hayao Miyazaki. The vast water and trees and the door standing in a certain place. Due to limited time, we did not buy tickets to visit and turned back. We walked back to the Music and Forest Museum. The maple leaves and buildings alone are beautiful. We had Fuji Tenpura Idatsu for lunch. We ordered a Mt. Fuji for one person. It was very satisfying 😋. The next part of taking the bus is very important‼ ️This is great information
We took the Fuji Express on our return trip
Not every train has a Mt. Fuji painted on it
So make sure you check the train number and platform
If you booked your ticket online in advance
You need to pick up your ticket at the JR station
So if you enter from Tokyo, make sure to pick it up before going to Yamanashi
We didn't notice this rule and only found out before we got on the train
Google found that other passengers were going to Yamanashi from other places
They didn't pass through any JR stations at all He told the platform staff that they were allowed to pass
We told the platform staff that day and they were also allowed to pass🥺
But if you know about this rule, don't take the risk😮💨
We stayed at da haus when we returned to Tokyo
I've introduced it in another article
The staff speaks Chinese👍🏻
Although the room is not big, it has everything
Small kitchen and washing machine👌🏻

Simultaneously enjoy the magnificent view of Mount Fuji and the music boxes loved by European aristocrats.
The Kawaguchiko Music Forest Museum is located by Lake Kawaguchi, where you can appreciate the spectacular Mount Fuji and the music boxes favored by European nobility. The museum's garden has a European style, making it quite different from other attractions around Lake Kawaguchi! The museum's dance organ performance 🎭 is definitely worth seeing.
It is recommended to visit after 16:00 in winter, as the entrance fee is only 1000 yen (original price 1800 yen per person). Additionally, since the sun sets around 16:30 in winter 🌅, you can capture the museum in daylight, sunset, and night views all at once.

Dreamy Melody: A Wonderful Exploration of the Kawaguchiko Music Box Forest Museum🎵🎷🎶
#2024Travel Review
In the embrace of Mount Fuji, I came to the Kawaguchiko Music Box Museum, a unique and dreamy place that allowed me to immerse myself in the world of music and art. As soon as I stepped into the art gallery, soft music sounded quietly, as if inviting me into this space full of childlike fun and creativity.
The architectural style of the art gallery incorporates European classical elements and is surrounded by beautiful gardens. Different flowers bloom alternately in each season, adding a bit of vitality to the place. I strolled along the paths in the garden, admiring the various music boxes. These music boxes are not only exquisitely shaped, but also emit melodious tunes that make people feel happy.
Entering the indoor exhibition area, I was dazzled by the various themed music box exhibitions. From classic ballerinas to dreamy fairytale scenes, each music box tells a unique story. I particularly like a handmade music box. Its melody is a familiar nursery rhyme, which instantly brings back memories of my childhood.
Here, I also took part in a music box making experience class. Under professional guidance, I made a music box by myself. Although I encountered some challenges in the process, I was filled with a sense of accomplishment when I saw the final work. This is not only a fun experience, but also makes me feel the joy of creation.
I sat quietly by the lake, listening to the music box melody coming from afar, and my heart was filled with peace and satisfaction. At this moment, I seemed to be in a fairy tale world, and all my worries were blown away by the wind.
The day at the Kawaguchiko Music Box Museum not only allowed me to appreciate the combination of music and art, but also allowed me to rediscover my love for life and the touch of childlike innocence. I look forward to returning to this charming place again and continuing to explore more surprises and beauty.

It recreates the streetscape of a medieval European nobleman, so it's picturesque no matter where you take a photo.
You can see rare collections of instruments, including the world's largest dance organ and an automatic musical instrument that was planned to be installed on the Titanic.
There are also concerts of automatic musical instruments and concerts only on weekends, so it's a good idea to check the opening times.

A Tour of the Music Box Forest Museum at Lake Kawaguchi
I live in Gotemba.
On May 1, 2024, there was a torrential rain, and for the first time, I thought of driving to try and see Mount Fuji, but upon arrival, I couldn't see it due to the heavy rain. Eventually, I returned along the same route and visited Japan's largest Gotemba outlet, haha.
Then on May 2, the weather was beautiful, with the sun shining brightly!
I drove to Lake Kawaguchi early in the morning.
The Lake Kawaguchi Music Museum was a delightful surprise. Only after entering did I realize how beautiful it was, with so many photo spots and antique music to listen to. I definitely had to take photos; it was just too beautiful!!
In the end, I was not disappointed and managed to take some lovely photos!

The garden was quite beautiful but the music museum was really interesting. There were many displays of antique music boxes, mechanical organs and other automatic musical instruments mostly from European countries. The main building also houses a concert hall where classical musicians from around the world perform.
In 2024, I want to visit this place again.

Music Box Forest Museum~Lost in the sea of musical notes 🎵🌳🖼️
When I approached the Music Box Forest Art Museum, the art museum is located on the lakeside, surrounded by green trees and lake water, as if I were in a fairy-tale wonderland. I felt inspired by the gifts and creativity of nature, and I was filled with joy.
I walked into the art gallery 🏠🎶🎁These small music boxes seemed to come alive, and every note carried a charming melody, immersing people in the world of music. I marvel at the craftsmanship and detail of the music boxes, each one is a unique work of art, exuding fascinating charm.
In addition to music boxes, the gallery displays a variety of artworks and creations. 🖌️🖼️I admire the works of painters, each of which has its own story and emotion. I was intoxicated by the colorful colors and delicate brushstrokes, as if I could feel the artist's soul connected to my soul🎡
I found a small music studio in the corner of the art gallery. 🎵🏢There are various musical instruments and music production equipment here, allowing people to experience the music creation process personally. I picked up a guitar, played my favorite songs, and felt the magic and freedom of music!

It's like being in the Alps
The Kawaguchiko Music Box Museum is an art museum in Fuji Kawaguchiko Town designed with the atmosphere of the Alps as the theme.
Walking in the museum, you will be surrounded by a strong European atmosphere, as if you are in a European city. Although my artistic sense is not very sensitive, the strong atmosphere exuded by this art gallery makes me want to immerse myself in art. The beautiful environment here allows me to temporarily forget my worries, enjoy the moment and appreciate the beautiful scenery. I believe that art and photography lovers will not be disappointed when visiting this gallery.

Music them
Music theme gardens and museums are actually quite unique. They are very suitable for taking pictures. Different museums also have individual instruments to play music. Of course, there are also explanations, but Japanese does not understand.
Art Garden, Rose Garden is two garden parks. There is a world-famous Belgian-made doll dance organ in the organ hall. The performance is very spectacular and enjoyable, in addition to France and Germany. The organ produced by the company is full of excitement, and there is a water dance performance every hour on the carillon square. If you have children, you can also experience the production of music boxes in the fairy tale kingdom store. The whole museum area makes you feel like you are in a European manor/hh. /
This is full of different varieties of flowers, you can also rent clothes to take pictures, it is quite interesting!

Kawaguchi
Kawaguchi Lake Music Box Mori Art Museum, a very interesting theme art gallery, is the theme of the music box, the whole thing is very dreamy. The entire art gallery is not too big, but the landscape is beautiful, and it looks great when taken.
We are very fortunate to have a wonderful day in the beauty of Mount Fuji. This place is beautiful and the concert is very exciting.
European architecture, and the environment is neat and beautiful, the automatic organ and the performance of sand painting and music are very good, the entire exhibition area is accompanied by music melody, very romantic!
