Have the cherry blossoms bloomed in Kyoto? We are the first batch of cherry blossom refugees this year!
Recently, I saw the news that the cherry blossoms in Kyoto are in full bloom, and as a cherry blossom refugee, I feel very envious. I may be one of those people who chased after the cherry blossoms this year, but were disappointed. However, the Kawazu cherry blossoms near Yodo Station did not disappoint, and beautiful pink flowers were in bloom. I would like to explain a little about the cherry blossom varieties here.
🌸 "About Kawazu Cherry Blossoms" Kawazu cherry blossoms are not well known in China, but are popular in Japan as the "mother of early bloomers." In 1955, a resident of Kawazu Town, Kamo County, Shizuoka Prefecture, discovered them in the grass by the river, and after 11 years of care, they began to bloom pink flowers and became widely known.
🔷 Flowering period: From mid-March
🔷 Flowering period: More than 20 days, can be seen until around the Qingming Festival. Another widely known cherry blossom variety is the 🌸 "Somei Yoshino Sakura." Native to Japan, it is widely cultivated around the world. It is the most commonly seen cherry blossom variety in Japan. Varieties include Tareyanagi Sakura and Tokyo Sakura. 🔷Blooming period: late March to early April
🔷Flowering period: about 10 days✈️"Where to see Kawazu cherry blossoms"
①🧭Navigate "Yodo Station" and exit from Exit 4/5. There are many Kawazu cherry blossoms in front of Exit 5.
②🧭Navigate "Kawazu Cherry Blossoms on the Yodo Waterway" and follow the guide or exit from Exit 4 and go straight.
③Go to the riverside and you can see a group of cherry blossoms.
📷"How to shoot"After actually visiting, I will introduce three places suitable for shooting.
🔷Near the railway bridge🌉: A place where you can overlook the cherry blossoms, very densely packed, I think the viewpoint is the best.
🔷Side of the residential area: Because it separates the cherry blossoms from the river, you can use the large light circle to blur the cherry blossoms beautifully.
🔷Near the parking lot: There is a bench under the cherry tree, where you can sit and take pictures of enjoying the cherry blossoms.
🔷 In the cherry blossom forest: I don't really recommend this. The Kawazu cherry trees have green leaves, and when you get close, the contrast between the green and the pink cherry blossoms is so strong that the screen can look dirty. Finally, I hope you all have a good time!
