Yilan short trip, a great place for Valentine's Day. Jiaoxi and Toucheng have always been the backyard of northern tourists. After the opening of the Snow Tunnel, the distance has been greatly reduced. The newly opened seaside hotel in Toucheng, THE ARCHIPELAGO Hotel, The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, highly recommended. The itinerary can include Brown Coffee Castle, Lanyang Museum, Toucheng Old Street. Seafood lovers can also visit Daxi Fishing Harbor. Jiaoxi Hot Spring Street is also a good option. Visit date/2024.12 Yilan Jiaoxi Hua Ge Hot Spring Hotel This is my second visit. It's rare to stay in the same hotel twice. And it’s even cheaper than our previous stay‼ ️ Check-in on Saturday including breakfast is only 2640～ I think it’s very Buddhist This time I chose a Japanese style double room, thinking that I could let the kids roll around. But the space is slightly smaller than that of a double room. The bathtub is small and deep ~ it fills up quickly with a lot of water What I miss most is his Chinese breakfast, super rich ❤️ And every hot dish is hot, not the kind that is left there to cool down. This restaurant has many elderly customers 😆 so there are many vegetarian dishes, porridge and side dishes We prefer his public pool to the room bath. After breakfast we went to the public pool and reserved it again. It’s not raining in Yilan and it’s not cold. It might be too early to take a hot spring bath ♨️😆 Before, the child couldn't even touch the bottom of the water, but now he's running around all over the place. Linmei Shipan Trail in Jiaoxi, Yilan, gets its name from 'Linmei Village' and 'Shipan Waterfall.' The trail is 1.7 kilometers long, forming a loop that is easy to walk. Along the way, you can enjoy rich scenery, clear waterfalls, and the undulating terrain of the gorge. The Linmei Shipan Trail is part of the Xueshan Mountain Range, with gentle slopes that are easy to walk. It serves as the watershed between New Taipei and Yilan. Starting from the Caonan Lake Trail, it takes about 2 hours to complete. The trail is lush with moss, ferns, and trees, making it very green and cool. Near the Linmei Shipan Trail, there is a famous internet celebrity spot located on the Shengmu Mountain Villa Trail in the Wufengqi Waterfall Scenic Area, also known as the popular 'Matcha Mountain.' However, the round trip to Matcha Mountain takes 5 hours, so do not attempt it without preparation.
