Penang is one of the thirteen federal states of Malaysia, located in the northwest of the Malay Peninsula. Tourists usually visit George Town or Batu Ferringhi.

There is a bus stop opposite the airport exit, where you can take bus 401 or 401E to leave the city. The fare from the airport to Komtar Building is RM2.70, no change is given.

Points of interest: St. George's Church, Church of the Assumption, Convent Wright Street, Court House and St. Xavier's College.
Stop 7: Lebuh Muntri
Attractions: St. Francis Xavier Church, Cheong Fatt Tze - Blue House and an old Christian cemetery

Attractions: Bengal Mosque and Chowrasta Market
Stop 9: KOMTAR Pusat
Attractions: Komtar, Prangin Mall and 1st Avenue Mall.

Food: Moody Cow Café is famous for its durian and cheesecake.
Stop 12: Jalan Chowrasta

Attractions: Prangin Mall, Peace Tartari Mosque.

Attractions: History of Sun Yat-sen's base in Penang and Campbell Street Market.
Stop 15: Kampung Kolam
Attractions: Aceh Street Mosque, Kapitan Jining Mosque, Ye Gong Company, Qiu Gong Company, Xie Gong Company and Lin Gong Company, collectively known as "Harmony Street".
Stop 16: Mahkamah
Attractions: St. George's Church, Guanyin Temple and Sri Mariamman Temple.

Attractions: Sri Pinang Hall, also an attraction close to Station 5.
Stop 18: Kota Cornwallis

Attractions: Back to the main station, the colonial buildings of Standard Chartered Bank Building, Islamic Council Building and HSBC Building.
