Haven for Bird & Nature Enthusiast
Kranji marshes park may not cover a huge span of area but it is definitely still a haven for nature-lovers and bird-watchers alike.
Took a short jog around and was greeted with a serene view of an abundance of greenery and several bird-watchers with their professional cameras, ever-ready!
The Raptor Tower takes you up a flight of stairs and allows you to admire a stunning unblocked view of the park. Tip: Try also spotting wildlife like the monitor lizard, up from high above.

Peaceful morning walk
Had a peaceful walk on a Monday morning through the Kranji Marshes--Singapore’s largest freshwater marshland. It was my first visit there since it opened in 2016 to provide an important habitat in the Kranji area for the conservation of biodiversity, especially for marsh birds.
There was no public transport here on weekdays so I was one of the few visitors there. Most people come here for bird watching. There are a few huts for bird watchers to sit while waiting for birds.
There was also an observatory tower called the Raptor Tower. I spotted snake skin at the top of the tower so I guess there was a snake which decided that it was a good place to moult?

Many marsh birds like woodpeckers and other birds, reptiles, lizards can be found living here and if you are lucky you can catch the sight of an eagle too.
Kranji Marshes certainly provides an awesome walking trail for visitors to observe and enjoy a nature walk ! Remember to snap away at all the beautiful flowers and scenery !
If after walking along the wood trail and you are still game to go, climb up the top of the Raptor Tower for a panoramic view of Kranji Marshes !
Kindly Do not feed or disturb the natural wildlife there and avoid or stay clear if you come across any animal. And do remember to don on proper footwear and dress comfortably in neutral colours, bring your cap, umbrella, binoculars or extra change of clothes, sunblock / insect repellent and of course water for hydration !
Enjoy your nature walk and remember all those fabulous instagram moments !

Kranji Marshes exploration
#exlporesgtogether #exploresgtogether #momentssg #attraction #nature
Tucked away in the northmost part of 🇸🇬 is the idyllic Kranji Marshes, best accessed by car as there are very few buses that actually come here, and it is difficult to find a taxi as well.
Great alternative to the usual nature places like Bukit Timah Nature Reserve especially for the adventurous who want to explore new places!
Along the way, trod along the road specially paved for nature seekers and try to look out for the different types of inhabitants there. Beware of little animals sharing the path; had chanced upon a 🐌 the size of my finger.
A watch tower which is the end point and the highlight of the marshes, is provided for nature explorers to climb up and take in the birds eye view of the marshes, and to appreciate the serenity and the fresh air as well.
Do remember to bring along insect repellent if you are a mosquito magnet and wear proper comfortable attire, and do expect alot of walking too!

Kranji Wetlands 🌾 picturesque scenery
#singaporeattractions
Kranji Wetlands in Singapore is a picturesque ecological scenic spot that brings together rich animal and plant ecology and charming wetland scenery. 🌳🐢
Step onto the winding wooden plank road, surrounded by vast shallow pools and primitive mangroves on both sides, forming a vibrant natural sketch. Pink water lilies float on the water from time to time, and towering yellow-leaf trees stand beside the pool, forming a poetic and picturesque tropical rainforest wonderland. 🌺🌳
The most attractive thing is the rich wild bird resources here. There are all kinds of rare and exotic birds in the park, making you feel like you are in a primitive tropical rain forest. 🦥🐒🦜
This charming wetland, which combines eco-tourism and environmental education, is truly an excellent place to appreciate the natural beauty of Singapore. It is also the best place to get close to nature and experience the vitality of life.

Serene Kranji Marshes
Located in the north of Singapore, the Kranji Marshes are a must-visit if you enjoy immersing in nature. The birds singing in the morning and butterflies fluttering around make for a calming and peaceful experience. Guard against the mosquitoes as there will be many in this area. Give this place a visit if you are looking to explore less-crowded parks!
