[2025 Kunming Stay] Travel Guide for Kunming Xisheyin City Hotel (Nanping Street Jinying Plaza) (Updated Mar)

Despite being located right next to the pedestrian area of Kunming Old Street, Xishe Yinshi Hotel provided the utmost peace and tranquility. The hotel is super convenient in terms of transportation if you’re just using Kunming as a transit stop to other cities in Yunnan province: 🚝 4km from Kunming Railway Station ✈️ 27km from Kunming Changshui International Airport 🚇 600m from Jiaosanqiao Metro Station We stayed in the Twin Bed Vintage Room, which was spacious enough for two people to stay in and was decorated very nicely in terms of colour palette and little knick-knacks - if you like that kind of style anyway! The staff there didn’t speak much English, but even with my limited Chinese it was very easy to check-in, call for help when needed and enjoy our stay overall. The hotel also has a really nice bar and al fresco patio that you can enjoy a drink on when the weather is good! It is simply stunning, and made our stay all the more worthwhile - especially at the bargain price! Breakfast in the morning was included, and consisted of a hearty serving of Yunnan’s famous rice noodles + an array of toppings, mantou, fruit and boiled egg. It was more than enough and tasted great! #momentsmission

Who knew?! I found an incredibly satisfying hotel in Kunming! - 🌙 Step out into the bustling city. Staying here in Kunming is super convenient, right in the city center. 🏤 Just a few steps downstairs is the lively Nanping Pedestrian Street and the historic Kunming Old Street. 🌽 Subway access is also easy, with Sanqiao Subway Station and Dongfeng Square Subway Station both within a few hundred meters. 🚶‍♀️ - 🌙 Sky Garden Stepping into this hotel is like entering a secret garden. 🌷 The sky garden is breathtakingly beautiful, filled with lush greenery, especially the monstera plants. 🎍 The light filtering through the leaves creates a magical atmosphere. Every morning, sitting in the garden, enjoying the delicious rice noodles prepared by the hotel, and breathing in the fresh air, I felt incredibly happy. 🥰 1⃣️Excellent location, downstairs is Jinyang Plaza, opposite is New Southwest Plaza. 🛍️ Dining and shopping are extremely convenient. A short walk to Nanping Pedestrian Street and Kunming Old Street, and only 600m from the subway station. 🚇 Getting to Kunming Railway Station is super easy, just a 10-minute taxi ride. . 2⃣️The hotel environment is fantastic! A courtyard garden with picturesque scenery at every turn. 🌿 The 5th floor has a large terrace with a bar and tea room. Breakfast is served in the sky garden, featuring Chinese-style light meals, with the main course and side dishes changing daily. 🍜 There's live music in the evening, creating a romantic ambiance for enjoying drinks and music with friends. 🍸 . 3⃣️The rooms are impeccably equipped with both hardware and software, featuring stylish decor and smart home furnishings, including Xiao Ai smart assistant, smart toilet, electric curtains, and screen mirroring TV. Kunming: A sky garden hidden in the bustling city The hotel is conveniently located on Qingnian Road in the center of Kunming, at one end of Nanping Pedestrian Street. It is only 700 meters away from Kunming Old Street. It is very convenient for shopping and dining in major shopping malls around it. It only takes more than ten minutes to take a taxi to Kunming Railway Station. The environment is my favorite point. Although it is located in the downtown area, it is surprisingly quiet. There is a sky garden upstairs. It is a public area for dining. It is also very pleasant to have a drink and enjoy the breeze in the rooftop garden at night. The hotel service is very good. The staff brother responds with a smile every day, making you feel at home~~~ The room comes with free drinking water and flower cakes. You can communicate with the front desk if you have any needs.
