Maldives is on of the beautiful destination getaways that you definitely have to visit at least once in you life. It is where you get to be up close with nature yet still be able to enjoy luxurious creature comforts. Because there are no high rise buildings around, you will certainly get to catch gorgeous sunsets during your stay. Some resorts require you to take a seaplane there while others require a speedboat ride. No matter which island resort you go to, enjoying the sunset is pretty much going to happen! The Maldives is located in South Asia and is an island nation in the Indian Ocean. It consists of more than 1,200 small coral islands, of which 202 are inhabited. The smallest country in Asia, where the terrain is ever-changing, with air-clear seas and white sand beaches, it is a paradise for seawater. There is no need for a boat ride, there are no bustling groups of tourists, you just need to leisurely step on the beach, diving is just fine. Some of the best beaches in the world can be found in the Maldives! This beach at Movenpick Resort has beautiful blue waters, soft white sand and sunny weather. The recommended time to visit is during the peak season of November to April, where there are minimal rain spells and more sunshine. It is quite a big beach as well so you don’t have to worry about it being crowded. Bask in the sun or snorkel to observe the sea life, certainly a place you won’t forget! Maldives Moofushi Island Experience In terms of food: Moofushi has three restaurants, the dishes of the Japanese restaurant are most to my taste, and it would also be a stunning dining standard in Shanghai. Not to be missed, it is recommended to book in advance. The buffet in the main restaurant is just average, there are not many varieties for breakfast, but the taste is also acceptable. The Italian restaurant does not suit my taste. In terms of room type: We chose the sunset sand house and the outer ocean water house (without a breakwater, you can see a beautiful sunset), it is recommended to upgrade to this water house, the view will be much better than the inner water house. Overall, I prefer the sand house. The sand house in Moofushi is much more luxurious than the water house. The terrace on the second floor is very comfortable. At night, you can lie on the lazy sofa to watch the stars. We saw a particularly beautiful starry sky. The snorkeling in Moofushi is average, not many fish. But there was a surprise, when we stayed in the water house, we saw a very large shark swimming by. I was so shocked that I forgot to take a picture😂 I have to say that the lagoon on the side of the water house in Moofushi is really unique, there is not a single seaweed, it is particularly glassy and particularly transparent, the color is really tiffany blue, even if it is cloudy, it is very beautiful, with the blessing of sunlight It's invincible. The beach is generally speaking, the sand on the side of the water house is a bit finer and whiter The spa on the island is not bad, we upgraded to 90 minutes. It is an extreme enjoyment to do spa while watching the beautiful sea view.
